Great German style food in a Bavarian like atmosphere. Small town atmosphere where everyone knows everyone; however visitors are treated like friends. Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding.

Wonderful place to stop when traveling from Indy to Cincinnati. Quaint small town vibe and very friendly people. Food was delicious and surprisingly inexpensive.

Small town atmosphere which I love! The chicken was the best. Absolutely loved it and the green beans may have been the best I've ever had imho. Gravy was excellent but mashed potatoes weren't that great. Salad was OK.

Still I loved this place and joked about going back the next night. The chicken was that good!!!

Sat in bar and had wonderful service! Great pretzel and beer cheese, yummy tenderloin, and good brewed iced tea! Will definitely be back soon.

A small town restaurant in the historic town of Oldenburg- Brau Haus is an experience you don't really want to miss. Their food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and small-town. We felt welcome and enjoyed our time there.

Carryout order was ready so quickly, didn’t get a photo before we dug in because it all looked so good. Everything tasted so wonderful. Beef Manhattan, tenderloin sandwich, and pretzels were all 10/10. Can’t wait to eat again

Fantastic food and service. They were able to fit our very large group in at the last minute, which was impressive in itself, but then the food was wonderful. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The service was excellent.

While we were there, it was busy. The staff was working double duty to make sure all the guests was well taken care of. The owner stopped by everyone's table and asked how the food and service was. And on top of all that the food was amazing. You cannot beat this fried chicken! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to anyone in town or visiting Batesville and Oldenburg area.

Always a great place to eat and stop by while in Oldenburg. Definitely one of the best fried chicken places in Franklin County! Servers are great, and the food is pretty reasonable on time.

You'd think they would jump on that. But burnt chicken cooked in same oil...?? We spent alot of money to have to send food back.

Excellent as always. It was super busy tonight, but the great staff at the Brau Haus did a super job keeping everyone taken care of. Fried chicken and sides were off that chart as expected.

The fried chicken at Brau Haus is awesome. We all ordered the 5 piece dinner. It came with real mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, and the veg of the day (green beans). Also included a roll and choice of salad or slaw. It was a lot of good food for lunch.

The server was very pleasant. But service was a bit slow. I think our server was handling multiple rooms, so the slowness was not her fault.

They have a great grilled tenderloin & this is one of the best I’ve ever had. It is very tender and the sweet potato waffle fries are awesome.

Great little hidden gem of the Midwest, people working there and patrons super friendly and informative of thier precious town. Please Google Oldenburg for a great read. I didn't eat but the food looked and smelled amazing! The menu prices are from the 90s compared to city gastros, and for the icing on the cake the beer is ice cold and great! Your welcome!

Great fried chicken and breaded pork tenderloin! The tenderloin was one of the best we've had: juicy, peppery, not greasy, and the breading was not too thick.

Rustic and simple place with great food and service. The fried chicken is (justifiedly) the star, but every dish we had exceeded our expectations.

Casual restaurant with small town charm! It is the perfect family sit down restaurant! Although the building is older, it is very clean and hug the aromas of their famous fried chicken! It is set up perfectly for a nice, intimate, family dinner. On the other hand, it is open enough that grabbing a beverage at the bar while waiting for a take out order is more than acceptable! Staff is polite, attentive, and intuitive with customers. We brought in our little one who is quite the chatter and our waitress listened to her, brought her a coloring page, and made her smile. She also suggested their prime rib special that was available on New Year’s Eve! My fiancé and I each got the special which included a salad, large piece of prime rib (I would guess 12 oz) au jus, creamy horseradish, twice baked potato (best I ever had) and green beans with ham for $25. Definitely enough for 2 meals. We usually get the roast beef manhattan’s which always knocks it out of the park, or their famous tenderloins. Their appetizer selection is great. We always get the loaded tots or pickle fries. Always hot, fresh, and fought over! Their desserts are great. Take out is always hot and fresh. 12/10 recommend! Come in at 3 or 4 before the dinner crowd for an even better experience!

I live near Indianapolis and remembered the Brau Haus from a previous event many years ago so we stopped on our way home from Cincy. I had a wonderful Reuben sandwich and the German Potato salad. Took home some of their chicken for supper. It's the best!

Best fried chicken ever! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the price is good. We had pretzels for an appetizer .. oh man was it good! We definitely will be back.
