My daughter and I really enjoyed our meals. Food was delicious. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Again, the service was great. I also had the Great White roll. It wasn't on the menu. It was the special for today. It was delicious.

I love going here! The food is always fresh and the prices are good. The staff is friendly and the can generally get my food out to me in good time. I love the lobster Rangoon and I prefer the teriyaki bento box. I always have good service.

Good food and atmosphere. The white sauce has a hint of orange flavor that's nice. Sweet crab rangoon was hot and delicious. Great prices.

My grandma had never had sushi 🍣 or habachi before all she kept saying is YUMMMY!!! This place is a very nice atmosphere very nice service quick and friendly 👌. Also the yum yum sauce is yummy sauce 😋. My daughter and I had a few different sushi rolls and they were all very tasty and beautiful as well. Prices are very reasonable I recommend this 1000%

Food is always fresh and hot. Servers always have a smile either dinning in or carrying out. A little pricey but always more food than I can eat in one sitting.

Wonderful place, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so nice. Very clean. I was very pleasently surprised. Definitely a hidden gem in Princeton.

This place is amazing! I've eaten sushi in some pretty highly rated places across the country. The product I had today was called the "Crazy Girl Roll." Fresh, crispy, and seemed professionally done. The wassabi is pretty mild here, but I didn't ask if they had some that was spicier. I haven't tried any other offerings on the menu, but I'll definitely be back if the Crazy Girl is any indication of quality and freshness of their food! Thanks Yamato for a great lunch!

Food is always hot, fresh and served quickly. Never had a bad meal there yet. Dining area is quaint, not a lot of seating but never a long wait, if any.

Nia was great....sushi and lobster delicious

An extremely underrated restaurant. Better hibachi than Ropongi, Zuki, Domo, Wasabi, and any other notable Japanese restaurant in the area. Food is consistently good every time.

Yamato has some of the best sushi I've ever had. There prices aren't to bad either. If you have a big this for sushi this would be a wonderful place too go to.

Absolutely amazing! I got hooked on sushi in a much larger area, so good sushi was to be found easily. But when I came here I'd have to drive 45 min to get decent sushi. Ordered only one item to try it out, the Yamato Roll, and it was great! Had me wishing I would've ordered more. Someone had just told me about them and I happy to see so many good reviews for a small area. Was also very happy to see the steps they had taken to keep current regulations in mind. I hope you continue to flourish, keep doing your thing; I can't wait to try more off of your menu!

Stopped in for lunch, wait staff greeted me promptly and took my order quickly. I had the steak and shrimp hibachi lunch , and it was delicious! Food was very fresh and tender with a great flavor, definitely a repeat visit in order!

Been here a couple of times, it's one of Princeton's hidden gems. Clean and quiet, friendly waitress (same one both times), and good food. Good sushi and steaks, you can get out of here easily for $10-$12 for lunch.

Amazing food, great prices, and friendly service! My husband hated Japanese food until we are here. Now he even eats sushi!!! Love, love, love this restaurant!!! It's a great addition for the town of Princeton. The lightning makes it very romantic as well! Would make a great pre-stop for prom goers, anniversary night, or date nights in general.

We've been to several Yamatos in different towns and always enjoy our meal. All the appetizers and sushi we've tried have been quite good. For those that aren't sushi lovers try the Hibachi or Bento box options, they're very good as well.
