Zax Creamery

We've stopped by a couple of times when we're in town for basketball. Last year we got dairy free strawberry and this year we ordered dairy free Oreo. It's a coconut based ice cream that is vegan. Typical for these kind of ice creams, it has a strong coconut taste at first, second bite is less noticeable, and then quickly goes away. I thought it was delicious and appreciate that Zax Creamery has three vegan flavors and rotates them. Thank you for also clearly stating that your dairy free is vegan (which isn't always the case with "dairy free"). A stop at Zax Creamery is a must when in Jasper.

Not only is Zax BY FAR the best coffee place in town, they are also the best ice cream place as well! They have recently added an extra room for eating. Also in the entrance is a nice patio with several tables.

The staff is always on top of their game and friendly. Prices are lower than your name brand coffee chains. This is the Mom and Pop stop that you won't regret!

Always have a yummy, fantastic experience at Zax. Especially since my Husband (who is lactose intolerant) can enjoy the dairy free ice cream!

Very tasty ice cream with some unique flavors and the prices were reasonable. And there is a really nice outdoor seating area. I would definitely come back if in the area.

The absolute best coffee and frappes I've ever had anywhere! My only complaint is not being open on Sundays because I'm literally sad when I can't get my Rasberry Dark Mocha!

Visiting jasper from out of town for my birthday. My husband and I stopped in here for some ice cream on a wed afternoon. He got the double oreo with chocolate syrup and I got the rocky road with chocolate syrup. Soooo delicious!!! The staff was patient and friendly with us, and it was reasonably priced.
On a Thursday morning we stopped in for some coffee. My husband had a hot matcha latte and I had the house coffee. Both were very good and also reasonably priced.

Great place for a stop on a road trip. Delicious ice cream, great coffee, super clean restrooms, and nice places to sit both inside and out.

Amazing service asked for a frappe that they don't usually make. They made it perfectly! I also bought a side of M&Ms for my two-year-old and they were so kind!

Best ice cream. My family greatly appreciates the non-dairy options and are always on the lookout for more. It's hard to enjoy ice cream with friends when nobody around has dairy free options....so thanks Zax! The dairy-free go-to for our family! There's a great new expansion to the building. So comfy and inviting. Great place to sit with friends and family and enjoy the best ice cream and donuts around. Seriously....the donuts are the best I've ever had.

I've had all their ice cream. It's all some of the best I've ever had. Definitely try the Amish pb.. Or the strawberry. Customer service is some of the best I've ever seen. Also quite reasonably priced. I have eaten ice cream all over the country. This is now my top five favorite!!!

On vacay, looked for local ice cream places. This was an awesome surprise! Ice cream parlor and coffee shop in one. Staff was accommodating to letting the kids try flavors and friendly. The ice cream was good, and the mochas were great l. The inside atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The location would be best if near a park, not a strip center.

Great variety of flavors for ice cream and coffee and more. The ice cream is so good no matter what flavor you get and I love their coffee. The Turtle Mocha frappe is my favorite.

What a great place! Excellent ice-cream and awesome service! We went the 14th in the afternoon and the girl working that was super friendly and I was excited that there was pumpkin cheesecake ice-cream!! Soooo good!
