Old School Cafe and Bakery

I recently went to lunch here with my fiance and grandmother and we absolutely loved it! The service was decent, there were adequate seating arrangements, and I couldn't get over how incredibly large the proportions of food they served were for the price! I fully intend on eating at this hidden little gem a lot more often 😊💜

Super cute cafe! From the old school bell on the door, to the exposed brick and old school diner chairs, this place fits the name. Anna our waitress was super attentive, friendly and you can tell she loves her job! The food nothing short of amazing! Truly a hidden gem in Huntingberg Indiana! Will definitely be back!!! ❤

A gem in Huntingburg, IN. The Sunday breakfast buffet is a traditional no frills, home-cooked treat! I'm not a huge scrambled eggs diner, but the scrambled eggs here are light and fluffy. Don't skip the biscuits! Just don't; they're THAT good. I also appreciated basic peel your own fruit instead of a fruit salad that's been sitting out. The "cuties" were perfectly ripe and easy to peel. Bananas were also available. I nice cup of fresh black coffee completed my delicious breakfast.

While traveling from Michigan we stopped in at Old School Cafe, I ordered the Stilwell burger and onion rings, my wife ordered the Rueben and soup - EXCELLENT! Everything was to perfection. Service was fast and our waitress was very pleasant.

Best food that I had in a long time. Very friendly staff. Going step extra to make sure that you are satisfied. Friend of mine asked for diet coke and they didn't have it. After 10 min owner shows up carrying diet coke. Customer service is unbelievable. I would give them 10 stars.

Our group goes for a late weekday breakfast here. Just a great place, people and hot delicious food!

Not only excellent customer service, but absolutely NOTHING this store sells is anything other than AMAZING. If you live within 30 minutes, it's worth the drive!

So incredibly psyched to find a place in Huntingburg serving real espresso!! The sign said lattes and I thought for sure that meant an automatic lush of the button but no they had an actual espresso machine!

We had the most wonderful lunch at the age. The food and service was excellent. Even the owner made sure everything was to our liking. They were very personable and truly caring. You should definitely make plans to visit.

Very nice little place. The building is late 1800’s/ early 1900’s and Natalie and her mom have done a great job with it. The breakfast we had was good also.

We were on vacation and couldn't find a single local spot open for breakfast Sunday morning, so we expanded our search a bit. When I saw Old School Cafe & Bakery pop up, I quickly checked out their reviews and told my husband and my dad we were going a little bit further (only 25 mins). We are SO happy we did!

This is a quaint cafe that has a nice Sunday breakfast buffet. The sign on the door asked patrons to be patient because they were short staffed - but you would never know it! EVERY SINGLE staff member that we interacted with was kind, patient, and an absolute joy!

I'm a little disappointed we don't live closer so we could check out their actual menu!

Fun, eclectic and charming. How a very delicious Reubens with onion rings. Top notch! Reasonably priced. The owner, server, were charming and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I hear the desserts are tasty too!

Great place where to eat that serves meals from breakfast to afternoon snack.
Staff is ready to help when you need something, food is served quite fast and prices are regular.
It close at 4pm..!

I've never eaten anything there other than the Sunday breakfast buffet. So my rating is based on that. The staff is always polite and helpful. The place is always clean and inviting. And the breakfast and coffee is always very good. My only suggestion is not cooking the bacon rock hard. Recommended.

We loved our lunch! Sat on the patio and it was delightful - the service was excellent. We are from cincinnati and next time in the area we will come back.
