Holiday Inn Express & Suites Seymour, an IHG Hotel

I have to stay here for Walmart training for a few weeks and I came with my BMX trick bike. I took it out to ride around and I guess someone thought I was stealing and told the hotel staff. A lady came out real quick to accuse me and was really stern. This is how it's suppose to be! She did her job! I told her I was staying there and that wasn't enough for her. She wanted to know my room number and name too. She believed me when I told her and apologized. Later she did validate what I said and saw me sitting down in the lobby and walked up to me and apologized again. I thanked her for doing her job. It could have been someone breaking into my car stealing my bike. Aside from that my room was good and had no major issues. Only that the showerhead was a bit rough.

Great all-around hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
Definitely worth coming back.

Stayed for 1 night. Very pricey, however, it is freshly updated. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. All electronics (including 4k tv), plumbing and mechanicals worked. Treadmill functioned in fitness center. Dumbbells provided down to 10 lbs. Breakfast was warm, well attended by staff and offered a nice variety of hot foods and fruit. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Addendum... After staying here, we needed some information, and Lara went over and above for assistance, and responding to our question. This is the best Motel, and staff, east of the Mississippi River, maybe the whole country. You cannot go wrong with this motel and great staff like Lara.

We've stayed at a lot of motels before, but the Holiday Inn in Seymour is the best motel we've ever stayed at. Kate and other personnel at the front desk, spacious room, cleanliness, good shower, quiet room, amenities, and most of all an extremely comfortable bed... All were great.

The area, right around the motel, also has great fast food we enjoy. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast, but we're pretty sure that was good as well. It won't be the last time we plan our trip to include staying at this really good motel. We highly recommend the Holiday Inn at Seymour Indiana.

The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY...the breakfast has alot of options...The rooms are somewhat dated,but the staff makes up for that..Just remember if you went your room clean every day to let them know...

A good, clean hotel with clean rooms. The 5 stars comes from the sheer friendliness and willing to work with customers. These ladies go above and beyond.

We had a Gender Reveal party for my brother and his girlfriend there. Plenty of room for a large group of peopl.nice and clean and helpful service there.

We rented the meeting room for a baby shower and it was amazing. The GM called the morning of the shower to double check on what we would need for the event. All of the staff we encountered were extremely nice. Getting there was simple for everyone who came from out of town. The lobby was super clean and very up to date with furnishings. The meeting room was spacious and clean. The restrooms were really nice and clean. Overall I was VERY impressed by how nice it was. And it was a lot less expensive than other places I checked when planning. I'm definitely going to use this meeting room again and I highly recommend it for all small events.

When I arrived Kate checked me in. She was so very nice and polite! The breakfast lady was on it! Before she closed down at 10am she made sure that everyone that was in the breakfast area didn't need anything else. Then Angie Sanders was SUPER helpful, also very nice! I checked out a day early to try to get ahead of the winter storm. She answered a few questions I had about IHG hotels. Over all AWESOME experience!! If I'm in the area again I'll be checking in here

Just want to say a shout out to Angie at the Holiday Inn Express. We were having extreme issues with a 3rd party. We mistakenly put the wrong dates into a reservation and didn't realize until it was too late. We were on hold for 60 MINUTES just to be told they could do nothing and wouldn't even try. Well, ANGIE to the rescue. I had already talked to her previously and she told me to talk to the 3rd party. I came crawling back and told her how bad the customer service was and begged for some help. She was my hero and got the date change to the correct date. I could keep going on about her customer service. Lesson learned, call Angie at the front desk for all your hotel booking needs. Give that woman a promotion!!!!!!

Was the perfect stay for in between our road-trip! Nice hotel, with lots of options for continental breakfast to get you started for the day! Very kid friendly place. We have 2 year old twins and we fit right in.

This hotel was absolutely awesome! The rooms are nice and spacious. Everything was nice and clean. General Manager Angie was outstanding. Staff was helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again. Angie thanks for making a our stay great.

Everyone was SO nice! From check in to check out everyone was wonderful! Our room, cleaned by Heather, was spotless! Thank you Heather for doing such a great job, housekeeping is a tough and sometimes thankless job and we appreciated all of your hard work!
Breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to chose from! The bacon, cheese omelets, biscuits and gravy and pancakes made our whole day! There was also a lot of grab and go stuff like yogurt, muffins, bagels, toast, nutrigrain bars, oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, milk, juices,coffee, fresh fruit and probably a fee more things I forgot to mention. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to enjoy it. The bed was super comfortable and very clean and we slept like champs!

Would give 5 out of 5, but pool needs some love. Staff great, rooms good!

The room was spacious, clean, plenty of lighting, and good seating. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The only drawback was we were on the interstate side and I forgot our fan to mask the noise. The pool area was clean and seating was comfortable and plenty of it. We didn't eat the breakfast, but it was a hot one. Very clean and friendly staff!

Danielle at the front desk was absolutely amazing!! Our family had been driving all day and she got us the most amazing room, along with some refreshments and light snacks! The pool was the perfect temperature and very clean. The rooms were spacious and beautiful as well. Best hotel breakfast, hands down!! We will be back again!!!! 👍👍

Staff was so nice, efficient, and helpful. My room was amazing. I was very comfortable! Will definitely use them again. Thank you Angie and Holiday Inn! They provide everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very clean and modern looking, staff was nice. We stayed in a room with two queen beds and it was spacious with a big bathroom, the beds and pillows were super comfortable too. Free breakfast had lots of options including a little hotcake maker thing I've never seen at this kind of hotel, oatmeal with pecans and brown sugar you can add, different milks and juices for kids, and even an "asian option" with steamed rice, soy sauce, etc. We had to stay here on a whim, was not planned at all, but would definitely stay there again!

Very nice, clean hotel. They were very accommodating after I made a mistake on my reservation. I was able to get a roll away since I only reserved one bed. The happy hour was great and the breakfast was hot and fresh. All amenities were great: pool, hot tub, gym...

Great place, great people, wonderful staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast every morning, the king size suites have a nice size living area a ice box and microwave, the jetted tub is awesome and the bed room is off to the back so you don't have all the hallway noise all night. They have a washer and dryer for the guests to use, a real nice pool and whirlpool, and gym area. Great place for extended stay. I would recommend this place for anyone who is traveling and want a nice place to stay. Oh for you golfers looking to stay somewhere close to a very nice golf course this is your place. The course is less then a parking lot away from the hotel and it is a very nice 18 hole course.
