Mc Cowan Fruit Farm

We bought a couple of patio tomato plants from here. She told us there was a possibility of a freeze in a couple of days, so she let us leave them there until after that chance had passed. We really appreciate that. We also bought some of their ripe tomatoes. They were delicious so we bought some more after we picked up our plants! They hours are convenient for us. They don't close early, like the Farmers Market in town. We like buying local so this gives us both convenient hours and buying from a local farmer!

Although we've driven past this place a dozen times as we've driven from Cincinnati, this is the first time we've stopped. They were very nice and their produce and live plants looked fresh and wonderful. We bought fresh green beans that were just delicious! We're now making it a regular stop during our drives to Seymour.
