River House Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful house and beautiful hostess! Norma is the absolute best! We enjoyed her company and the time spent in and around Jasper. For a small town, we were surprised that there is so much to see and do there. Sitting on the wrap around porch was so relaxing. Rooms were comfortable, house was quiet. We will be back.

A lovely bed and breakfast at an old house with lots of charm and character. The wraparound outdoor porch is perfect for enjoying an evening outdoors and getting some fresh air. The bedrooms were spacious and we even had the treat of seeing a fawn in the yard from our bedroom window one morning. Norma is a great host and ensured we had a great stay. The location is also perfect within walking distance to a nice park, some great walking trails, and the historical Jasper City Mill.

River House B&B is spectacular to say the very least! A gem tucked away in my little town. Norma is an attentive hostess, and she makes everything very welcoming. Spacious rooms, private bathrooms, wonderful breakfast, and good coffee to help you start your day. We will definitely be coming back and I’ll be taking my next staycation here as well!

I will definitely stay there again. Norma is a sweetie and she makes you feel at home, but yet a special guest. I wish we could have stayed longer.

A couple of friends, my wife, and myself stopped here for a last minute stay on a motorcycle trip we were on and couldn't have been happier with the choice! The caretakers Norma and John were great hosts and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.

This is a cool looking turn of the 20th century midwestern Greek Revival(? I'm not hip to too many styles) house with lots of Corinthian columns and a wrap around porch with many rockers to sit at and look at the Patoka River and Jasper City Mill. Great looking woodwork inside and nice little decorative features in the molding and wood abound. The rooms are spacious enough as are the beds and each room has it's own a/c controls to make it comfortable to your tastes.

Norma and John really stepped out of their way and were happy to let us hang out hours after check out while we waited for a bad storm to bypass us on our way home. She kept wanting to send us away with food just like your grandma wants to!

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something more interesting than the usual hotel/motel/Holiday Inn!

Comfortable, immaculately clean, friendly hostess, delicious & abundant continental breakfast in an absolutely lovely, restored & historical home. The whole town is charming & pristine.

It was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and the coffee was delicious.
