Beautiful, moderate loop with lake views. We did run into a couple of uncontained Great Pyrenees that caused us to turn around at the far southwest end of the lake so we didn't make it to the beachside of the lake. We were hiking with our dogs and didn't want to risk an interaction.

Nature lovers rejoice! Large sites tucked into forest land. Herds of deer, beautiful box turtles (drive slow) and more bird species than you can name. Staff are friendly and quick to deliver ice and wood.
Only snafu was bathrooms closed, 4 of 7 days and showers closed 7 days during my stay. Supposed painter issue. Communication was poor but that is on the management company FINE. Beautiful place for peace and quiet and being in nature. Really hard to find places like this anymore.

It’s been yrs since I been here but I can remember such great memories at this place. Walking on trails fishing swimming in the lake when restrooms and showers was rebuild also riding bikes down a hill plus it was always so clean and peaceful.

Beautiful park in the Hoosier National Forest. Campgrounds are nice and wooded with plenty of options on different types of campsites. The park has plenty of trails for hiking and a nice beach area for swimming. There are shelters you can rent for larger gatherings for a reasonable price as well. Park is situated in the middle of Perry County which gives you access to some of the most beautiful areas of Indiana and the Hoosier National Forest. Make sure to take a drive down Indiana 66 from Magnet to Troy and look up some attractions to see while in the area.

Beautiful place to camp thats nestled in Hoosier Natural Forest. Large lake to swim and fish in. Also has a playground close to Lake. Several shelter houses to use for get together. Plenty of trails and nice campsites. Bath houses are always clean with nice showers, toilets and sinks. Highly recommend.

Just had an awesome Labor Day weekend at Tipsaw and it was phenomenal! We were lucky enough to get a host site in Jackpine loop! When we got settled in Friday evening, Mr Les came to introduce himself and was very accomodating! My kids loved him! His wife was just as friendly!! The lake and playground was an awesome pastime as well. The bathhouses and all restrooms were always kept up and beautiful. You can tell they were renovated and amazing. We cannot say enough good things about this campground. Not really great if you’re camping in groups but the sites are all very nice and deep. We also had friends visit and a tent as well as our 32’ rv on our site and still had plenty of room!

All in all it was a wonderful holiday weekend for our family!

The grounds keepers were friendly, helpful and did a good job of keeping things clean A1. Never bothered me, only asked if we needed anything. They deliver ice and wood. I avoid all campgrounds as I prefer to be away from everyone else but it was tolerable minus the humans and was only there for the fam. The showers were clutch af and clean. 5 stars for them keepers.

So I wanna gave it 4 stars because on our last day there was one other group and they put them next to us. They may have reserved that spot but maybe they would prefer to have some space as well.

Lake was covered in seaweed as well. But these things prolly were out of their hands and I'm a reasonable, understanding and deductive human. If you could make sure in similar situations that you ask if they'd like to change locations if available. There was a beach and it was the only part I saw that didn't have seaweed. It closes @ 8pm.

Nice area with a pretty good campground. If you like hiking they have a 5.6 mile loop around the lake. Trail is not traveled much but it is beautiful.
