Babbs Supermarket

It's such a cute small town grocery store. The produce and meat sections looked like a high-end store. Clean, fresh, and very well arranged. I was very surprised. Staff was very nice.

Oh god, this is a fantastic grocery store! We primarily go for the hot food bar. The fries and Mac n cheese are the best I've had in ages. The mashed potatoes are probably the best I've ever had. I definitely recommend it.

Good lil place, I wish they'd expand their stock of a couple niche items, but I have an odd diet. I love this place, open 24 hours, everyone is polite, good, steady stock of most of what you'll need day-to-day. I stop here regularly, and would highly recommend.

Always helpful workers, and always have a good selection of fresh foods.

Not the cheapest of stores but definitely one of my favorites!

It was over sixty years ago when I first entered Babb's Grocery store (which, at that time, was across the street.) Though larger and more modern, It still has that special small town personable appeal which is more and more rare to find.

Open 24 hours and here, that is important, and very much appreciated. Because even the big stores close up at 10pm -11pm. If you go, try the "Essential" brand. It is great! Abit pricey on some items, but really well worth it.

Great little hometown grocer. Great selection and really nice employees. A little more expensive than the big chains, but supporting local business is important.

They have a variety of things in their deli. All are delicious. You can find just about anything you can want at a great rate, too!

Everyone here was super friendly! And they carry my favorite gourmet coffee, too! It’s owned by veterans from indiana and the roasting is locally done! Babbs staff is always helpful and their produce never looks thin or picked over. I value this. I also love the dedicated section they’ve got for local products and treats to be marketed and sold. They care about local because they’re family owned too for almost 90 years! Wow!!

Great chicken in the deli and I got a big watermelon that is one of the best I've had this year. The sign said it was from a local farm.

Simply stopped in to grab a quick snack while driving through town and wanted to avoid fast food. Many deli options to choose from. Customer service was very good with employees ready to assist and help you. Will definitely plan to stop by again next time we are driving through Spencer and need a bite to eat.

Babbs is a nice locally-owned supermarket that makes a lot of contributions to the community.

Did you know that you lose 1% of your bone density per month while in outer space? I didn’t, until Coleman imparted that wisdom upon me during checkout. This grocery not only feeds you stomach, but your mind. Make no bones about it.

As usual, everything went fine. OTHER than 4$and some change for a gallon of milk. Dang!!!! But it's all good and enjoyable dog's on a fire FROM BABBS.

Staff is awesome! Not only did the beautiful woman working the service desk retrieve the flyer AND remove the particular coupons I needed, she also contacted me later to inform me they'd somehow not been applied to my grocery bill. She had my bill adjusted. The amount the coupons saved me is waiting for me to retrieve at the store. THAT is customer service!!

We love our little hometown grocery. Always a good selection of the basics and unexpected specialty items throughout the store. You can often find locally grown produce on the shelves when it's in season. Above all I would recommend their meat department. Some of the best available in the area.
