This store has display of high quality large fossilized rock and wood and pieces of well-crafted silver-and-stone/gem jewelry provides a great place to visit. The proprietors are welcoming and willing to be informative. This place is a multigenerational, total commitment experience for the Hinshaws. I so admire this family and their craftsmanship. A definite place to visit if you are near French Lick or West Baden in Indiana. Worth the drive in the countryside.

Wonderful! It brought back memories from my childhood. The Hinshaws are so sweet. It was like old home week. A rocking chair and glass of lemonade - I could have stayed all day. The artistry of Mr. Hinshaw's silver work was so beautiful!!!

Great selection of gems. Owners, we're on-site and very friendly! They collect 90% of the gems themselves. Told you what you were looking at and where they found it.

Love love love!! What can I say about this place? It’s amazing! The Hinshaws have run this place for decades. Mr Hinshaw has mined these gems and rocks himself and personally made the settings; rings, bracelets, necklaces etc.. I have been here several times and each time is a new experience. There is something for everyone in the family. I love this place and cannot recommend it enough!

If you're looking for unique jewelry pieces Hinshaw more than likely has what you need, the space is a bit tight but it's chock full of beautiful stones and gorgeous lapidary work

This was our 2nd visit to Hinshaw's for more great selections for our rock garden. The owners are always very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. It is out of town a bit, but easy to find.

This is a great place to find a souvenir or a gift. There is an incredible amount of rocks gems and jewelry for sale. All the jewelry is handmade and beautiful. If you are visiting somewhere nearby this is the perfect place to visit.

This is probably my favorite shop I've went to. Everything in the store was labeled nicely and was well priced. The family who owns the store was very kind and provided details on many of the rocks in the store. They were very helpful. Coming here was definitely the highlight of my vacation and I'd strongly recommend coming here.

3rd time I have been there. I always love to chat and talk rocks. Amazing folks. This time I got to spend more time and ask questions and the owner sure knows his stuff. Amazing journey's to get some of the inventory.
I like examples that are still in the rough. We got some great petrified wood pieces from Wyoming, Texas, and Idaho. The owners daughter was wonderful as well. Packaged everything safe and sound for the journey home.

Wonderful folks and lots of Hooiser hospitality.

This is a great place for jewelry made from gems. The grounds are cool to walk around and look at the different rocks. The owners are super nice and answer any questions you have about gems and rocks. They even patiently answered my 4 year old grandson s endless questions about the different types of rocks. This is a must visit!

They showed us how they made their art, and were so knowledgeable about the rocks. Definitely worth the extra drive.

So glad to have visited this gem of a place. Loved hearing the family's story of how they built their business. They polish the stones themselves and the attention to detail shows. I was so impressed, they have an accomplished collection, and literally every piece is polished to perfection. You will not regret your trip here. Will definitely be visiting again!
