I was staying in French Lick with my husband for our Anniversary and this little breakfast spot was so good I had to eat there twice! I loved that they have vegan and vegetarian options. The bagels were DELICIOUS! Best breakfast in French Lick.

What lovely people and great food. It's basically bagels, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. All are great. The owners are just the nicest people, which is an added plus.

Small town, trendy bagel shop with yummy breakfast bagel sandwiches, bagels+schmear, chips, salads, coffee drinks.

Excellent customer service (even on busy morning, like when I visited). They close at 2:00PM. Parking is available nearby. Tables indoors + outdoors. To Go is also available.

I would definitely visit again when in town next.

10/10 love this place. owners (jack and rachel) are so sweet and so are their kids. families running a business is so nice to have in a small town. i personally love bagel and i had never tried a steamed bagel until i walked in there. i love so many of the bagels (as i have gone there many times myself) and i highly recommend getting a BALT without tomato and adding an egg. as for drinks i like getting an iced pumpkin spice latte.

Great bagel and a decent cafe latte macchiato. I have a small complaint though. Can you please have stevia for a sweetener? Also, instead of only herbal teas, how about an Early Grey or English Breakfast tea? The service was very friendly.. a little slow, but the food was worth the wait. I’d come again!

We arrived on a Monday morning at 9 am and they were closed. Nothing on their website explaining why. I don’t want to ding them for this, as they get overall great reviews, but some kind of notice on the door or something would have been nice. It was the morning after a tornado, so we hope the employees are fine and they just maybe had a hard time making it into work?
We were disappointed, though, as it looked like the best place (only place?) in town for a morning latte. And, I was looking forward to trying one of their bagels.

Best place to get breakfast in town. Whenever we are here we always stop by. It’s amazing the owner remembers us and our names. It has a great vibe. Support these sweet people and their business. Would highly recommend!!

I stopped in today for the first time, and I was extremely impressed. Rachel, a delightful young lady, makes a perfect latte. There were also lots of food selections that won’t disappoint. Rachel and her husband are relatively new owners of the shop, and I wish them great success. This is an unusual bagel shop in that they have stronger beverages than simple coffee. That’s in the spirit (pun) of the location which was the Oasis bar fifty years ago.

We stopped at the Bagel Bistro multiple times on our vacation with our dog. The service is nice and friendly, and the food is great. Our dog Cass was welcomed like family. We highly recommend eating here. Thank you for the wonderful time and giving our dog love!

My daughter and I enjoyed our sandwiches and the relaxed atmosphere of this quaint bistro. My daughter also enjoyed meeting Frank, a regular customer here. This is my fourth time eating here. I never cared for a bagel sandwich, until now. I highly recommend!

Went there this morning with some friend, they all got the BALT, looked so good! I got a Watermelon Italian Soda, I had never had such a thing before and it was fantastic! It is directly across from the West Baden Hotel from the springs side. Great place!

We enjoyed breakfast at the Bagel Bistro two days in a row. The bagel sandwiches were delicious as were the muffins and coffee. There was a great selection on the menu and the staff were very friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner while there. Highly recommend this restaurant. It is right across from the West Baden Hotel.

I don’t give out 5 star reviews lightly, this place is incredible.

Hands down the best bagel sandwich (and the best sausage on the side) that I’ve ever had.

Bagel was light and fluffy, egg, bacon, ham, and jalapeño jelly perfectly balanced.

And great coffee too!

Food was good. Staff was nice and checked on us a few times. Looks like a fun place to hang out. Small foosball table. Games on the tables. Little bar. A little pricey for a bagel sandwhich but would 100% eat here again. I had the rhino and had more meat than I expected. Bacon wasn't the thin stuff. My husband had the eggsplosion. His was good, I thought it had a pickle, turned out to be a jalepeno (spice hit you a few seconds after the bite) but it wasn't to spicy. Would order both again!

Rachel is a mesmerizing host, and Jasmine is a wonderful ball of energy. The bagels are outstanding, with the signature checkerboard wrapping and the delicious gluten-free Deep River chips.

Even though I had take-out, I was captured by the beautiful decor and trimming of the walls, along with the intricate copper plating on the ceiling fans. Such a warm and cozy vibe, the perfect place to have brunch with friends and family.
