Highly recommend. An amazing experience and fantastic staff. Everyone was so helpful in accomadting my wheelchair and making it a great time. Shout out especially to Issac who went above and beyond to make sure I got to see the giraffes.

We did the safari drive thru and the encounters yesterday.
It was an amazing!
When I made the reservation over the phone I asked a lot of questions. One of my questions was what restaurants in the area would you recommend. We went to 2 out of the 3. Great choices.
This was a wonderful experience of a day!
The team is friendly, knowledge, informative, extremely helpful. The area is clean at the base, and has a lovely gift shop for souvenirs.
The animals are very well taken care with much love that you can see by the everyone who works with them.
You get to see the animals up close and personal and get to interact with most of them.
I would highly suggest this place.
It is great for all ages.

Visited today for my kid's field trip and was completely mystified! Aside from the fact that the wildlife is so beautiful and friendly, our guide while on the ride was EXCELLENT! Great personality, great source of information and just an all around great tour of the ranch! It was nice to be in a place that respects the wildlife, while still being able to educate people on them! Wilstem is an AMAZING place to visit and we will absolutely be back!

Cheap experience worth every single penny. We did the elephant education experience for $40 and the best value you can get out of any experience here and let alone in general. It's easy to navigate to and the staff is friendly. 10/10 recommend for anyone of any age. Definitely will be going back for the other animal experiences.

We had a great company day at Wilstem. They were able to accommodate 600 employees of ours in one day. The customer service was incredible, Deanna was great to work with. They arranged everything for us and gave us an AMAZING group rate. Wilstem was also kind enough to offer an additional discount on lodging if anyone wanted to rent their cabins at the location. Their employees were very friendly and helpful and shared a lot of knowledge about the animals. Kevin continuously blew our minds with his dad jokes and details of each animal while operating the wagon on the safari. Wilstem's Ranch has a variety of animals that are well cared for. It was a beautiful day and a fun getaway. We have used this location twice now for company days, once in November and again in May. I would recommend it for individuals or companies.

I came to Wilstem in 2014 with my daughter to go horseback riding and stay in a cabin. 10 years later we returned to find it has grown exponentially! We did the all access package. We were there from 10am until 4pm. Our day was filled with the most amazing, educational animal encounters I've ever experienced in my 51 years. It was the best day wr could have hoped for!!

We did not stay on the site, but we did do the drive through safari and the elephant encounter. We were able to feed the animals and interact with them. Our kids loved it and the elephants, Cindy and Vickie were amazing.

We did the wagon tour and it did not disappoint! Definitely exceeded our expectations and was soo much fun getting close encounters with animals and getting to hand feed them. Feel like you’d lose some of that if you just drove through with your car.

Oh and make sure to check out the barn with animals on way out - kids got to feed giraffes ($5 for small bundle of lettuce) - super cool experience!

My husband and I recently visited Wilstem and had a blast! I'm sure this would be a great place to bring your kids, but we loved it as two adults. We did the drive-thru safari and were able to see a number of unique animals that we had never seen before. I definitely recommend buying food for the safari animals. You get a good amount for $5, but you'll likely want to buy a couple of cups because there are so many animals to feed. We loved the Roos & Crew barn, as well. We paid $10 extra to interact with the kangaroos and $5 more to feed the giraffes and did not regret it. We spent at least 3 hours at Wilstem and probably could have spent more. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Outpost cabin and visited the wildlife park for the solar eclipse. I can't say enough great things about the cabin. It was much larger inside than it appeared from the outside, with two full bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen and both rooms had full ensuite bathrooms. There is Also a full size washer and dryer with a half bathroom attached to the laundry room. The kitchen is large with a table and chairs for six and the sofa turns into a bed as well. So you could comfortably sleep six in this cabin. The AC was wonderfully cold and the cabin was beautiful inside and had amazing views outside from both covered porches.
We took the wagon tour safari instead of driving ourselves. It was great plus they gave each customer a bowl of feed. The animals were all very friendly and the wagon does have a cover over it so you're not in the hot sun. We also purchased the evening elephant encounter, this one is only for guests staying in the cabins. Vicky and Cindy were absolutely amazing and are such beautiful Asian elephants. They have a nice gift shop and Cafe where you can purchase lunch or just some drinks and a snack if needed. There are plenty of restaurants and stores very close by. Paoli and French lick were both only about a 10-minute drive.
We highly recommend visiting the wildlife Park as well as staying in the cabins.
The Outpost is at the front of all of the other cabins and It sits behind the office and gift shop as well as next to the elephant Barn. However, Even with it being crowded on the day of the eclipse we could not hear anyone while outside the cabin and Could not see or hear anyone from inside either. The only complaint which wasn't a big deal is there is a slight smell coming from the elephant Barn where water drains down towards the cabin. It's in one general area so There is no standing water in the yard or the drive around the cabin. But when you are on the back side of the cabin where the drive is, there is a light smell that reminds you of a sewer smell. But from the front deck and inside you can't smell it at all. It was not an issue for us whatsoever, and we will be staying at the Outpost cabin again.

My daughter and I just stayed at the Capone cabin. We went on the evening elephant encounter and the did the entire elephant encounter the next day along with the giraffe encounter and the safari. Words cannot even begin to describe how much fun we had, from Joe with the elephants and the gentleman with the giraffes to the Roos and Crew team, everyone was so knowledgeable of and attentive to the animals, it was amazing! You can tell the staff LOVE these animals, they are well cared the grounds of property inside and out are so clean. The cabin was clean and had so many things available inside to use during our stay, right down to dishes in the cabinet. I cannot remember the last time I laughed as hard as I did on the safari, the animals were not shy at all to come to the car and get feed. It was amazing! The staff were incredible! We will be back, big shout out to the Wilstem team, you are wonderful. 😃

Luna, the sloth made our day! She was so friendly and so active for a 🦥, she was a real diva! She let us feed and pet her and then was playing with her blankie and soft toy. It was a fun experience for all of us! We will definitely go to visit Luna again.
The other animals such as the giraffe, kangaroos, monkeys, and even the parrot were all so friendly.

We did the self-drive and the elephant encounter. It was beautiful! The areas where the animal were inside were clean, the food was fresh, and we saw how the employees treated the animals. Trey was giving an armadillo a bath as gently as if it were his pet at home. He was also very knowledgeable about the animals. Shelly helped us to decide which encounter would work best for our group. Joey was so kind to the elephants. Everyone was just awesome, really. And Josh, who was out at the drive-through building, knew a lot and helped us make good decisions for our group in the car. Even the covered bridge you need to cross to enter was lovely. I read about the supposed bad issues, but all I experienced was seeing people who treated the animals and visitors with care. I would definitely make this a stop on a trip near southern Indiana.
