Elmer's Restaurant (Roseburg, OR)

I was helped by Thunder who was very sweet and helpful the whole time. I was checked on by other staff as well to ensure I was taken care of. The establishment was very clean and the food was amazing, I had the Strawberry Crepes. I was just passing through on my way to California and I’m happy I stopped here.

The service was very fast on what I thought would be a busy Sunday morning breakfast. I entered the lobby with 2 groups ahead of me and was told 10 minutes wait, but the nice lady searched the seating area & returned to seat each group ahead of me in booths and then ask me if I would take a table, which I agreed since I was in a hurry. On the way to a table she spotted a newly cleaned booth and seated me there.
My waitress (Brittani) dropped off a menu and returned within a minute or two with my water and I placed my order in record time without waiting after selecting my menu choice.
Food came quickly in about 5 minutes & was nice and hot and very delicious. The hash browns were much better than I expected.
I'll be sure to stop in on my next trip through town. A very quick & easy off & on the freeway since the restaurant borders the freeway at the on & off exits for both north & south bound directions. Plus quick stop for gas nearby.

The Elmer's restaurant is your old fashioned feeling food spot. It has some unique foods and your traditional foods as well. Kids get a cool menu, and a super hero felt mask. Their is nothing special about the atmosphere at the Elmer's restaurant, it's meant to have lots of butts sitting and eating. The food is great, all the things you would want from a traditional sit down place like this.
I had the blueberry and banana crepes, and the Cascade Club probably my favorite sandwich.

This is probably the best breakfast place in all of Douglas County, not just Roseburg! We visit about twice a year from Texas and make sure we stop by at least once each trip. Today was on our way back to the airport, but we made it!!

The Beer Battered fish was really good. The fish pieces you get are of a good size and the fries remind me of dinner fries.
The fish basically fell apart in your fingers and the breading was delicious with a nice crunch.

The salad is an add on option that I didn't get.
My mom said it was good.

The waitress was friendly and attentive.

This is one of the best places to eat in the pacific northwest. The service is always good and the food is even better. Breakfast Lunch Dinner you would not be disappointed. The German Pancake combo with ham and eggs is my go to with a bloody mary.

Cute little spot when stopping along the way. They are super busy all the time since they are right off the freeway. Maybe a low service review will help get more help hired. Food was good EXCEPT the waitress brought fries for a toddler, who immediately reached for one, and didn't caution the plate or fries were hotter than Arizona and set it down right infront of him. Other than some attention to detail, typical Elmer's visit.

This diner right off the freeway may remind you of a Denny's at first glance, but the menu will turn your head.

The potato cakes with Tillamook cheese are fantastic, as are the dungeness crab breakfasts. My companions also enjoyed their lunches. And the staff is wonderful!

I bought a coffee mug to remember to stop there on an interstate drive.

Very friendly and helpful and all around just a great experience and food arrived quickly and it was well done and to be honest with you it was very delicious and the bar was also very wonderful to top the night off

We love this place. Always great food and service. We go here at least a couple times a month.

Tami is the best! She is helpful and courteous. The food tastes amazing. Menu has a lot of options. Prices are easy on the wallet. Stop by for breakfast/lunch.

Absolutely yummy! Had the crabacado omelet, it was so good 😊 also had to try the German pancake 🥞 highly recommend

Stuffed hash brown was delicious. Plenty of options, couldn’t decide between the German pancake or omelette. But everything on the menu looks delicious.

The food and outstanding service make up for the cosmetic / decor cleanliness issues. Needs a major carpet cleaning and some paint. The omelet and ranch breakfast were excellent. Large portions, good coffee and friendly staff.

The staff in the bar is 2nd to none. It is hands down the best place in roseburg to have breakfast and get treated right. Unless you get a male bartender cause he will mess with your machine while gambling. Totally kidding he is top notch at his job and with good music playing and him and every other bartender there keep it fun and friendly. Great atmosphere all around.

Blueberry Pancakes...so good. Our Server was professional, friendly and checked on us frequently. We never had to wait.

First time here and OMG, the best omelette I have ever had. Our server was awesome. All the food was great prices were fair. Highly recommend for a great breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.

Meal was great and Lisa was even better! She answered our questions and was a pleasure to talk to. Give her a raise and anything she asks for- you do NOT want to lose her!

We stopped for brunch, service was fast and good. We had the tasty fish, chips and coleslaw. The tarter sauce was really good.
