Big Lake Campground

Some of my favorite memories are from growing up camping at Big Lake. I spent my childhood riding dirt bikes here and swimming. Now as an adult I get to come back and make more memories with friends/family! You can never be bored here. The camp host is so nice and helpful. The vibe of the campground is friendly, everyone is always respectful of quiet hours but parties hard during the day! My one and only issue is the mosquitoes, be very prepared for them as they are relentless!

Great place to camp especially with little kids, the water is shallow far out so they can have a lot of fun. This is our 3rd year camping here and we absolutely love it! My sister's youngest is 3yrs old out there floating and the oldest is my 8yr old son who can touch all the way out by his raft (see photo) when he stands it's a little above his waist.

Best campsite ever! Cleanest toilet I 've ever seen. Some campsites have access to beach and we camped at the beach. Stars and Mt. Washington were beautiful! Lake was warm enough to swim and it was sandy like a mediterranean sea.

It's probably one of my most favorite places, thus far, to watch the sunrise.

Peaceful, beautiful campground. The views were amazing and everything was easy to find. It has pit toilets. Running water is for drinking only (no hand washing, dish washing, etc.). Lots of mosquitos as expected :) ... And tiny little "beaches" or entrances from the various campsites to the water, which was deliciously cold after going on nearby hikes in mid-July.

Some of the most beautiful views, not someone the most easily accessible for rvs but perfect for tent camping.

We love camping. Here. The campsites provide the amenities of a pit toilet and water spickets. The majors tend to be fairly shallow and most of the people in the lake are using paddle boards or kayaks. Occasionally there's a boat or a Sea-Doo lake as well.

A lot, a lot, *a lot* of mosquitos. Left and went to another campground where there were zero. Not sure if it was just my site (site 48), but mosquitos ruined the whole time.
