Mac’s Hideaway, is the Cheers of New Albany, IN. You walk in enough, everyone knows your name. Bartender’s are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Good mix of entertainment throughout the week, from bands, trivia, and karaoke. Food always hits the spot, especially the fish and shrimp! If you haven’t checked them out, you should!

I Ordered the large fish plate. This included 2 LARGE Thick peices of fish. Great flavor and arrived crispy and fresh. Fries which were also cooked well and crispy. I requested extra lemon which they provided. They also included plenty of sauce. As a first time customer, this food was great. And I'll definitely order again. Food was packaged well. And portions were great. Wasn't a huge fan of coleslaw but that was due to personal preference. Hush puppies were really good too. Not to big. Overall meal was amazing and could easily feed 2. Price was definitely reasonable for portion.

We love this place. Danielle & Dan are both great people. We have NEVER had a bad meal here. The service great. They have the best Fish Sandwich around here. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

Been here a few times now. Last time I got the food I loved it, got food again and their food is great every time I’ve had it. Great prices, great service, and plenty to do here. Wish there was more opportunity for dancing but maybe I just went on a night they didn’t have it. Love this place

Worked well for an Election after party. Food and drinks were good, and we appreciated the owner stopping by our table to say hi.

Good food, friendly staff, good prices, and a fun atmosphere with live music. There aren't many places you can see live music without it costing alot, so it's worth it to go just for that.

Bar area is large, with large stage. Clean. Bar food is good. Playing here tonight with my band The Subourbons. All is good so far!
UPDATE- Havin a great time. Sound is great, plenty of people here. Pool, food, drinks, live music! You can't go wrong on a rainy Saturday night.

Great venue to see an artist in a small setting. Drinks were amazing! Next time we might order food.

Mac's is a great little place. Love coming here to see Hippie and the Hillbilly! The atmosphere is chill and the food is so excellent.

Watched a coworkers band, and the place was busy. The drinks were good. Try the Malibu bucket. They stopped serving food around 10, but my friends were able to get pizza.

We are from out of town. Went looking for Karaoke, found it here! Great service, great atmosphere too.

Very cool place! Pool tables, dart boards, pinball, hoop game, lots of bar seating, friendly staff, touch tunes juke box, reasonable prices with lots of specials!

One of the best local bars in the area. Super friendly staff. Great prices on drinks. The regulars are amazing. Great place for live music. They have a very large amount of space if socially distancing is a concern to you. They have a great number of pool tables. They also have other various arcade games available. They are non-smoking now also.

This bar is awesome. Multiple pool tables, darts, good cheap bar food. Reasonably priced drinks. Bartenders are friendly and on the ball. The entire staff from doorman to bouncers made it a cool atmosphere. If I was closer it'd be my regular watering hole

Neighborhood bar and grill with great bar food! Hand breaded fish and shrimp. 1/2 lb fully dressed burgers to order. Good sides like jalapeño poppers, cheese sticks, fries, hand breaded onion rings, etc. Liquor and beer prices are lower than most places in the area. Sports on the TV with the major sports packages. Get on over to Mac's and check it out!

Had no idea they have food?! I work for DoorDash and picked up an order about 11:00pm. There was a quality band playing, lots of other extracurricular activities to participate in like darts, video games, etc. Gentleman that greeted me at the door were pretty cool. Check it out.
