Hilltop Restaurant

This is a awesome local restaurant to support. I'm sure all the entrées on the menu are great but the breaded tenderloin has to be the go to here. Food was great, atmosphere was great, and the service was amazing, ask for Tyler she rocks.

Stopped by after a day full of driving and just wanted a bite to eat. The service was amazing. We had Ally and she was the sweetest waitress I have ever had. She answered all my questions evem though they were strange at times. The lady at the front even was very sweet and friendly. Our food was great and we highly recommend the English chips, catfish, and thier stupendous rolls!

I didnt believe the reviews for the best tenderloins. But I was wowed. We spoke with one of the owners and they buy fresh tenderloins, tenderize and bread them- fresh, never frozen. If you need to make carb choices the sweet potato waffle fries seemed homemade, crisp and sweet. Efficient service too. Take the detour off 74 if you need a good place to eat. Pay attention too for the beautiful, historic cemetery on your way into town.

We eat here quite often. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable, in my opinion.

Service is good and the atmosphere is very nice. Love the decor. There are two dining areas - the front area is traditional dining, and the rear area offers a bit of a "sports bar" atmosphere - it's a little darker and there are TVs.

They also have beer and wine on the menu.

My recommendations: the steak is delicious and the broasted chicken is excellent.

The food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the family make this the best restaurant in Covington hands down. The steaks are always perfection and the hospitality is real small town Indiana. Pride in ownership is evident once you walk in the door, you can see that the owners take pride. Would give them 6 STARS but GOOGLE said "not an option".

I love this family restaurant. Whether you're in the mood for a sandwich or a steak dinner, this place will not disappoint! The owners are hands on making sure your dining experience is a good one.

Breaded tenderloin? Real hand breaded tenderloin. Real tenderloin cutlet pounded. No Pork fritter garbage.

Catfish? Hand breaded. Fried chicken? Hand breaded.

Beef rivals beef house quality at a better value.

Sides are always plentiful, fries are great, mashed potatoes are real.

If places like this die than towns like Covington are dead.

Think about that the next time you eat Your Type 2 Diabetes at Mcdonalds.

Wonderful staff and great place. Absolutely exceeded my expectations. One of the best (if not the best) tenderloin I have ever had.

Homemade is the secret! Wife & I had tenderloin's breaded & grilled and would order them again in a heat beat.

Food was delicious and the cook now's what he is doing and the help was really kind and kourtes and I will go back

Wonderful meal and fellowship with my cousin, daughter and husband. If you haven't been to Hilltop Resturant, you might try it.
