Wana-Cup Restaurant

The tenderloin, tots, rings, and brown cow cheesecake, were all excellent! This was our first visit. We will be back!

We stopped today as many places are closed, due to it being Ascension Day. Plus great reviews. You order from the counter, pay and sit. They bring food to you. I had a grilled chicken salad and it was huge. I brought half home. The chicken was tender and abundant. Hubby had a double cheeseburger, they come plain but ask for toppings. The beef is fresh not frozen and was amazing. He took half home too. We definitely will come back on our next trip to the area. My second salad pic is what I took home.

We showed up on a very busy Friday night. There was a slight wait for food but that was to be expected with as many people as they were serving. Food was excellent and staff was super friendly. As a local I highly recommended Wanna Cup!

While all the tourists flock to the "Amish" places in town, take note of where the buggies are parked.

A great meal served quickly and without the bustle of the bigger and busier places in town. The pork tenderloin was great and while we didn't have room for dessert the sundaes looked great.

Awesome pizza burger, and the chicken strips were very nice, tender, perfectly breaded. Hey- when did people start putting ice cubes in root beer? It was not clear upon entry that you order at the register, they bring it to your table when cooked.

The food was so hot and delicious! I ordered to go and it was done in a timely manner. The staff was so friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Will be going back soon to try something else. Today was a Frisco melt with the sauce on the side and delicious crispy French fries. 😋 New management really stepped up their game. Best Restraunt in town!

We stopped in for a Saturday Lunch. Very friendly staff, a nice atmosphere with things to look at while waiting on your food. You order right as you get in the restaurant. Food came to the table in a short amount of time. We had the fish sandwich, tenderloin sandwich both with fries. Very tasty food would definitely go back.

Great place! The lady was very friendly, I think the owner? A storm moved through while we were inside. The power went out briefly. The workers handled everything just beautifully. 3 of us got burgers and fries. My other daughter got chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. We all enjoyed our food.

We had the crispy chicken salad, onion rings, and the sloppy joe pizza. The menu is interesting and I was tempted to try the pizza burger but I ultimately decided on the sloppy j
oe pizza. I chose wisely.

Let me tell you about this amazing pizza. Let’s start on the bottom. The crust was great. Thick, chewy, and crispy on the edges. Then comes a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. This is followed by a large amount of deliciously melted pizza cheese. It’s then topped with sloppy joe meat, green pepper, and onion. I was blown away by this creation. I will definitely be coming back again!

My mom enjoyed her crispy chicken salad. They were quite generous with the croutons and dressing. Chicken was cooked just right, tender and juicy. Onion rings were good, standard fried fare, but tasty!

Great service by the owner. She was very helpful with their menu and explained to us that her husband smokes the pulled pork out back, and makes their own sloppy joes.

I’m eager to try more items from their menu.

We had the best meal at Wana-cup yesterday. Great food! My grandson had pizza we all loved it, my husband had the chicken salad (too sweet for me, but still tasty) he loved it! I had the fish, sooooo good. Best of all of course is the Root Beer. We have eaten there many times over the years, it never disappoints! Great staff, so pleasant to dine there. Thanks Wana-cup can’t wait to see you again!

Eating lunch at the Wana Cup Restaurant was an entirely pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. The food was basic and very good. I would highly recommend getting their home made rootbeer. It was amazing. I were looking for a local restaurant (I try to avoid chains) and this was exactly what I was looking for.

It’s a diner… and it hits that mark WELL! There’s things for almost every palate & taste, despite being of limited size. A great place to go with larger family or a gathering of friends! Wear your T-shirt for a 10% discount! Fun to enjoy, too!

I came here the first time over 45 years ago. My dad took me to get a haircut next door, then here for a Cheeseburger and an ice cream. I have came here many times in my travels from Chicago to Toledo. I'm never disappointed.

We had our 2023 Johnson Family Reunion on July 23rd. This was the first time we had visited this family run restaurant. My husband Bill had made the plans with Jessica and her husband Mike.

From the very beginning they were helpful, making suggestions and were so patient with our own suggestions.

When we got to the restaurant they had the whole restaurant ready for our family. There was 54 of us!

The service was amazing! The restaurant was clean, the food was FABULOUS.

We were excited about this restaurant because it is family run and had been established for a long time. We were not disappointed!!

If we have our family reunion at Shipshewana next year, we will be invading their establishment again! Hahaha

It's diner comfort food. They have a sloppy joe pizza you've got to try! The crust is thick and curls up around the edges kind of deep dish style.
