Yoder Department Store

This is a stop i usually go to when in Shipshewana...
1/2 of the store is like a department store..clothes, shoes...etc..
The other half is like a hardware store with a dash of gift/ souvenir selections..
Nice variety store..

Great stores. Lots of material. if you are into quilting it should be a must stop

The department store was amazing. It was very clean, well stocked, and incredibly busy even so they got everybody out in a timely manner. It was incredible, I hope to go back again soon

The saleslady at Gifted Hand Villages is very knowledgeable about the products. She told us about her age, she is 85 years old. She is very nice and helpful. This gift shop is very unique because some of the products are handmade and from recycled materials. Very colorful accessories like handbags, earrings, necklaces and more. Very nice and good for gifts. I highly recommended to visit this gift shop to anyone visiting Shiphewana.

You could find all kinds of treasures at really good prices. Almost everything you could imagine. The Amish chocolate was amazing.

Always fun to shop here. A good variety of goods and plenty of rockers to sit and relax.

Fun department store with lots of Amish style items. Even the hardware area was fun. Shoes were a little overpriced but shoes are not their specialty.
Service was good. Very helpful but not pushy.
Parking was safe and lots available.

Oh my, what can I say. This is a fabric buyers dream. So many beautiful fabric. Every time I come here I buy at least a dozen fabrics. It is the largest fabric store around. The have everything you need including specialty, clearance, sewing & quilting notions. I normally spend a hour in here. There is also, a great old fashion style hardware store, along with coffee shops in this building. It's a must stop.

We were impressed with the helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely shop here again!

I purchased the absolute best laundry rack that I guarantee will never break down in your lifetime. Amish made, well built lots of room folds up nicely, I absolutely love it and wish I would have bought it 20 years ago.

I absolutely love going through this store. My grandmother took me there when I was a child.

Do it Best Hardware has a little bit of everything. also has things that you did not realize that you needed. The amount of cast iron, enameled and canning supplies is staggering. Clothing, shoes, sewing in another section

I looked At All the fabric in the store. That's a really nice store. All the Western wear and the shoes and hats and flannels and blue jeans.

Love shopping in Shipshewanna! I was looking for a nice pair of shoes and found just what I was looking for! Great service too, they listened to what I was wanting and directed me to the right place and helped me along the way!

This place literally has anything you could want. We found the most random stuff we had been looking for for a while and found it here! One half is home goods/outdoor living/misc items and the other half is clothing, textiles and shoes. It was kinda fun walking around and seeing everything!

Great place for, general, store needs!
