Had took care of my family for yrs.

Mr. Owens tried to take control of a $10,000 funeral insurance plan I had inherited giving control of the authority from my wife to his business associate.
He did this in secret, and hid it from me until time passed to where it could not be contested.
I am a 100% Disabled Veteran so who ever has a receipt for the funeral receives the money from the government granted at death.
This with Social Security and the $10,000 my estate had committed to the plan came to $17,000.
Also he led me to believe I would have control over the details of the service. He even had me fill out the forms for the details. When I found out his business associate had control of the monies I also found out his business associate had complete control over the plan even the details of the funeral.
We live 2500 miles from Alexandria so my wife and daughter would have great difficulty in resolving this issue As I attempted to work this out with Mr. Owens he blocked me from his computer and phone.
It cost $10,000 in order to gain control of the funeral plan, and that was only because I went 2500 miles to Alexandria and picketed his funeral home for three days.
As my wife and I picketed the funeral home with signs several people gave us similar reasons of their bad experiences and encouraged our success.
I can rest assured that my family will not have to deal with Mr. Owens or his establishment in order to receive their monies.
Several local ministers and other pillars of the community helped to resolve this issue.
