Had breakfast and enjoyed the food the service was good and fast.

they had all tables filled for a town of that size. everybody knew everybody. pleasant and friendly. we fit right in 😊

Stopped here on our way through on a road trip, not knowing what we were getting into. We almost left because the outside doesn't look very welcoming and needs some maintenance. I'm very glad we didn't. The inside was clean and the service was great! My husband had a salad and I had a wrap and we both had a piece of homemade pie. Everything tasted and looked fresh. The pie (sugar cream and peanut butter) was fantastic!! Highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Had the Sunday special chicken and noodles, very good! Didnt care too much for the roll however the noodles and mashed potatoes reminded me of the schools 30 years ago. Loved it.

Had an awesome breakfast. Little cafe atmosphere with great food and amazing prices. This is a hidden gem! Looking forward to grabbing a piece of pie the next time I'm in.

It really was good..the bread was to awesome!! My bacon was a real piece of bacon..it had to be 8 inches long..Great taste!!!! First time there today..we were passing by..Sooooo glad we stopped!!!!

A very good and inexpensive meal. Portions are ample and they have great desserts, too!

This was a great surprise! My wife and I enjoyed a meal together, she had a wrap and I had a burger. Both were very good! The service was very personable and prompt. We will probably be back (even though it's not especially close to our home.

Lived in Alexandria going on 3 yrs in April. I've had their chef salad (very good) but, I actually dined in w/a friend and the service was awesome! We went on a Mon. at 11:30 kinda busy but no wait. I ordered the southwestern chicken wrap and it was delicious! Definitely recommended this place!

I live close by but had never eaten here. Was in Alexandria this morning and decided to stop for breakfast. Very reasonable prices and the food and service were both great. It is MUCH larger inside than it looks from the outside. Great little local small-town place!

Update: Over a year after posting this review, Rachels is still my favorite place for breakfast. Great food, small town atmosphere, and very nice people.

Got basic breakfast… everything was tasty and service was good! Their pies are great too, though I managed not to talk myself into taking one to go. 😁
