Michiana Eye Center

I have not been to an eye doctor since I worked for an optical place in 2012. I came here and they were very friendly, compassionate, treated me with dignity and respect. When I called to make an appointment, they thought it was to get new glasses and were going to schedule me out a month but when I told them my regular doctor was concerned about my right eye being blurry with no infection or problem, she said oh no we need to get u in now and they got me in within 2 days, the doctor saw me quickly, I didn't sit long at all, found out it was a cataract and they wanted to get me taken care of right away. They never looked down on me for not having seen an eye doctor for so long. They care about their patients a great deal and they are absolutely wonderful people. I recommend them highly.

Everyone is great. They are the best. I have had to have procedures done and I can't thank them enough. From front office to the back with the doctors, they make you feel like a person not a number. The doctor's, I can't say enough about. I won't go elsewhere for my eyes.

Highly recommend this practice! Every single employee, from the receptionist who checked me in, to those I passed in the hall, to the technician, to the doctor, were so friendly! They took me back within 5 minutes of checking in. McKenzie, the tech, was so nice, explained everything, was so understanding and made me feel very comfortable! Dr. Salam was also very friendly, thorough and explained things using an eye model, which was never done for me before. Really glad I found this eye center!!

We are new patients and visited the Plymouth location. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They did a wonderful job with my daughter and made her feel safe and comfortable. They also answered any questions I had with ease and understanding. I will definitely continue treatment here for my daughters and myself as well.

The assistant, Sara did very well getting me ready for the doctor. Dr. Sonoberg told me what my eye situation was in plain English. I feel very positive about my eye exam

Michelle S. Gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had, she is wonderful and I hope I always get her for my exam. I knew I had trouble with my right eye, but she caught things in my left I didn't even know was there. Everyone in this office is kind and courteous. The eyeglass Lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) Was understanding that I work late, and was willing to stay a few minutes so I could pick up my glasses, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. I will definitely be back again, I have found my new Eye doctor 😊

Treated kindly by front office staff. Dr. B and his clinical staff were great! Abd the office is really clean and pretty. I appreciate that!

After an initial "issue" regarding my glasses, everything was resolved
I'm extremely happy, and amazed at how much better my eyesight is after cataract surgery. I highly recommend Michiana Eye Center, and will continue to see them on a regular basis. Two thumbs up for the entire staff!

The front desk staff are very friendly, the Doctors and their staff are absolutely amazing. The waiting room was clean and very pleasant. The staff was Extremely helpful in your choices and I would give them 5 ⭐

I gave them a middle rating as they started off strong, but finished badly.
I was taken in the back and given a very thorough exam by Kristi. I'm guessing at the spelling but she was polite and attentive.
When she left me in the exam room I was told the Doctor would be in shortly for his part.
I'm not kidding I waited for twenty five minutes. I'm not a big fan of sitting in a small, hot, dark room.
I opened the door and turned the lights on. Even had time to use the restroom and come back.
I told a staff member that I had been waiting a long time. She snapped at me the doctor was with another patient and I was next.
The doctor was nice but no one even let on there was a problem, nor did anyone explain or apologize.

I’ve been a patient with this office for many years and have always had a great experience! Everyone there has always been very caring, helpful, supportive, and very knowledgeable! They explain every procedure and are happy to answer any questions I may have. I never feel like they are trying to push me in to purchasing unnecessary items and have even had occasion to feel like they were going above and beyond to ensure I had what I needed without wasting money unnecessarily. I will continue to use them as long as I live in the area because honestly I can’t SEE 👀 any reason not to! Thanks for the great service and keep up the great work!
