This was my first time here and right after Christmas! Boy, was it a tornado in there! Lol.. which is totally understandable. The staff was very nice and friendly, I love that it's sort of a combination between five below and Burlington. Their prices were pretty decent, and I walked out with a bunch of stuff for less then $50

I had a pleasant experience Tracy Robinson and the manager Dakota were a awsome help, they went out of their way to help us and went above and beyond to even carry our storage bench to the car in a timely fashion. Also kept their cool when a angry customer interrupted our transaction and they apologize and explained that they're short staff and handled the situation professionally.

Good place if you like to dig. I wish it was more organized. Sizes are never in correct order. Staff very friendly.

Some stuff is still a little pricey depending...(thanks inflation, thanks biden) mostly the little pieces of furniture that they sell..for what it is. Yea ur basically going to pay almost if not full retail elsewhere and probably get better and sturdier else where for the same price or maybe even less if u kno what it is ur looking for as well as search for better discounts as well.. but they do offer quite a decent size selection of just about everything else and at a fair price that isn't to heavy on the bank acct/wallet so I am all for gabes and their items even tho you walk down n around any n every isle it is not long before you realize that seemingly someone had been in a "rush" to put things on the shelves and racks and it shows.. things are not neat for sure mostly in the isles are in disarray. You have to really look to find what ever ur looking for if it's anything but clothes... atleast their bedding is pretty much kept ok and all together. their rugs.. ans animal stuff ish..but that is about it ...

Really love this store! Such a great and affordable store to get just about anything! They have tons of awesome clothing and shoes, lots of home decor, pet stuff, kids stuff, holiday stuff, luggage, electronics, and so much more. The prices are unbeatable!! Staff is all very friendly and helpful as well, and the store is always very clean and tidy.

I like that they offer layaway. Good offers on toys.

We have several of these bargain stores close to each other. It’s a nice place to shop, spend some down time, take an out of town friend. Merchandise changes, so it’s always an adventure

The turnover rate at this store is ridiculous. However, there's a girl named Mytasia there who is really professional and seems to enjoy her job. This is one of my favorite places to shop for my boys. We always manage to find nice clothes for them. Mytasia assisted us with our first layaway EVER. She was really kind and knowledgeable during the entire checkout process. Employees like her makes the shopping experience awesome because the checkout point is usually what leaves a lasting impression.

Oh, the coupons via email are also a plus.
Highly recommend this store.

Nothing is in order & the dressing room is usually closed, but everything is so cheap! Plus it’s a great way to kill time.

I love shopping at gabe's The prices are great and the selection is huge A little something for everyone. This is primarily a clothing store but has some home goods and things as well.

Omg what to say....I love this store, some pricing to high but mostly fare. Staff , is great and friendly, and absolutely love the clothes fashion.. Oh and the boots are grate priced and so cute. Thanks Gabe's keep up the fantastic store deals and verity of fashions and cost

Gabe's is the best store around! For over 30 years i traveled to Ohio several times a year just to go to Gabe's! I am excited to see that it has finally made it's way to Indiana! Now, if it only come to the merrillville/hobart IN region! Please consider it!
