This is a great beach for families. The lake is shallow and the deepest portion of the park beach is probably 3 feet. Our 7 year old can stand next to the boundary rope and be waist deep in water. There is a boathouse with bathrooms, a beach with good sand, not rocks. The lake bed is sandy, not rocky and not mossy. To the left of the boat house is a smaller beach area where you can anchor boats and wave runners off the beach. There are picnic tables and shelters to rent for reunions or parties.

Fun lake for jet boats and wave runners. Only one boat launch, can get hectic sometimes.

Great beach, perfect for younger children because it's so shallow. Only downfall is that it had no public restrooms.

Bass lake beautiful day breeze from the lake spending time relaxing eat near the lake. The sail surfers. Kids swimming. A best time in water

Go to Bass Lake every yr for family reunion. lots of relatives live around the lake. Love the lake, love the ppl. We sometimes drive the 100miles or so, just to east at that Bass lake pub, and drive around the lake.

Bass lake state beach is NOT owned by the state. It is a private concern and admission is charged.
