Chicory Cafe Mishawaka

Amazing spot to grab a bite to eat. Went for the first time and will definitely return. The fish po boy was the best fish sandwich I've ever had. Freshly fried to order, the fish was seasoned and cooked beautifully. The staff were all very polite and the atmosphere was great. Lots of breakfast, coffee, and lunch/dinner options.

You order at the checkout and they bring your food to you. New Orleans menu options. The loaded Mac n cheese were huge portions and looked delicious. The quiche and breakfast sandwich were delicious, also got biscuits and gravy. The beignets were okay, I’ve had better. They have a nice patio, there was relaxing live music on a Sunday afternoon, but it was a bit loud for me.

Chicory always seems to be so busy and somehow continues to manage an excellent atmosphere. The staff is great, very helpful in terms of making recommendations off the menu and quick to fix issues with your order should any arise. We all got Po’ boys and everyone in our group was impressed, so much so that a few of us ordered seconds. They also have delicious Italian sodas that aren’t too sweet, bitter or tart—just perfect. The Mishawaka location is pleasant but the one in South Bend is even better! Would highly recommend either location.

Very cute cafe. It is a little pricey, but it’s worth it in my opinion. I had the Cajun Chicken & Sausage Sandwich, Jambalaya, and the ice vanilla latte with almond milk. It was tasty and I recommend giving it a shot.

F-I-N-E family coffee shop with tasty meals and Chicory coffee. Friendly General Manager and personable staff. Prices are reasonable and portions substantial - not tiny and not gigantic -- JUST RIGHT. Vegetarian options. The black bean soup is wonderful. Panera's used to be my preferred place, but when their service and menu drastically declined and I discovered Chicory, it has become my go-to coffee shop. Breakfast, lunch or dinner - sometimes twice a day. ~~~ Patio dining is pleasant and they have unobtrusive live music on Sundays in nice weather.

A great place to have breakfast or brunch. I live nearby & I love their patio. Their waffles are great with a very reasonable price & don’t miss their fish fry sandwich .

We came for lunch. I had a cup of seafood Gumbo, which came with cornbread. It was the perfect portioning for lunch. I'm very happy they had outdoor seating available as well.

The atmosphere here makes it the perfect location for small, personal gatherings. Their perfectly selected menu will have you second guessing your decision until the moment of your first bite. Without a doubt one of my new favorites! 5/5 ⭐'s

Had the monthly brunch and everything was beyond “on point”. Management leads by example and details are in place.

I had the triple grilled cheese and a blueberry, brown sugar latte. My husband had a turkey sandwich. Both were good. My favorite thing about Chicory has to be the bread. A good sandwich starts with the bread, and they get it right! I also like the variety. We choose Chicory Cafe when we want something a little out of the norm in a pleasant atmosphere.

This is a great little restaurant! The staff is friendly and happy to answer questions about the menu, they have vegetarian friendly options, and the atmosphere is nice.
Their iced tea is very good. I'm a picky vegetarian, and their vegetarian options are very tasty!
There are board games tucked in to some shelves, in case you want to stay for awhile. There's also a large outdoor patio, with a lot of seating.

First time to the Chickory in Mishawaka was a very pleasant visit. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help make us as comfortable as possible. We came to celebrate a year in Color Guard and it was fantastic. Great space for large groups.

Tasty on all fronts. Coffee drinks and Louisiana-influenced dishes along with some other classics.

Oh my gosh where to start?! The food and drinks here are so good!!! There is so much variety and healthy things to eat too! The place is so cozy, I can't wait to come eat here when the patio is open. Both times I visited were during February. Gotta check this place out. I got this suuuuper yummy sandwich that had fresh mozz, basil and balsamic vinaigrette with sprouts on it 😍 and an Italian cream soda

We fully enjoyed it. A bit pricey though and no french fries. But if you enjoy creo style food Chicory definitely has that and great biscuits and gravy. Over all a pretty good experience, further they had been accommodating to our group. We didn't leave until almost 9 and felt no pressure to leave. Big plus.

I've never been to the South Bend location, but this one is absolutely awesome. Louisiana inspired menu items along with fantastic coffee.
Oh, and great adult coffee drinks.

Had a Tinder coffee date here. First time coming here. Its a nice little shop with friendly faces behind the counter. The mocha frappe I got was so delicious and definitely worth it! It was safe neutral ground for a date and not overcrowded or loud. I will be returning soon ❤❤❤❤
