What a beautiful little joint! I loved how Tucked away in a quiet corner this place is. Service was wonderful, waiters were all polite and nice. I had the Mexican omlette and it was filling and delicious! Perfect place for the perfect breakfast. Parking is right in front of door entrance street side and at the back. Very reasonable prices and delicious foods! 😋

This is a hidden gem. You want value? You want an amazing meal, in a historic atmosephere? You want service to rave about in a casual atmosphere? Its rather new place, but the food is very very good. Price is great service is great. I highly recomend taking the time to eat there.

I LOVED and MISS working there back in 1997/98 I had to quit because I was going through a lot of bad issues back then. I remember Bill, (who is probably no longer with us by now) George, Teresa, Paula and I know Cindy quit when I was still there but I remember all of them. If I was ever offered to come back I greatly would. I always did love that place.

Good spot to go with others when some want American and some want Mexican food.
Service is always prompt and friendly.. The interior is vintage, and reminds me of eating breakfast at grandmas house which is always a pleasant feeling.

The Royal Cafe on the corner of Sixth & Wells in OLD Mishawaka is a quiet cozy family owned restaurant in the heart of the neighborhood it is surrounded by. The NEW owners took over operations the end of 2022 & are providing quality food for a fair price.

I chose the meat lovers omelette with American fries & toast. You better be hungry when you order this breakfast because it was large & full of a lot of meats & cheese.

The nice lady (Rabi?) that waited on me is the wife of Pedro & Pedro her father-in-law are the Chefs & Owners.
My water glass never got low too!👍

The menu is extensive in both American & Mexican food options with daily specials & prices that are easy on the budget. They don’t offer a SENIOR menu option but if you mention your SENIOR citizen status they will gladly provide a discount to keep you budget conscious clients coming back.

If you like supporting LOCALLY owned restaurants & tired of the corporate owned selections in Mishiana give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!🤙

Louise is phenomenal. Love her. She always takes good care of us and provides us excellent service. She definitely makes the experience top notch.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday by taking him out to breakfast there. Very good food and friendly staff. We will definitely go back!

We tried Royal Cafe for the first time on a Sunday morning. Other than the food taking a little longer than my kids would have liked, everything was great. Excellent neighborhood spot. We'll be back.
