This is place is absolutely beautiful!
If you are into nostalgia and history, then this place is for you! I attended my second wedding here last weekend and noticed even more details in the craftsmanship of each building. It is the perfect venue to transport back to simpler times. It is really pretty when the corn is grown around the property. Just look at some of the photos on the account and see for yourself.
You may see some negative reviews on here from some people that do not appreciate nostalgia and history. Just laugh through them as I did. Then stop at the next positive review. There are always a few people that choose to keep their minds closed, but I feel it is much healthier to have an open mind.

We hold our Spurgeon reunion there each year. Our kids love exploring the area.

Had my brothers wedding there a few days ago and the place was stunning. I’ve always loved woodworking but buildings are honestly more art pieces with how they were assembled and put together. Would recommend to anyone for any event or to just see what it was like to live in the time period!

Beautiful❣The round barn was set up well with tables & chairs & we still had room to walk around, I do wish they had more little heaters set around, especially for our elders, or wish the weather was about 10 degree higher lol, but hey it's October!
Everything was great, I recommend this place if you really like the rustic but clean farm settings, we can tell they work very hard.
Btw the very large beautiful farmhouse really takes ya back to a wonderful, yet a hard working time in life, I could sure see it being filled with family through the years❣

Hidden treasure with so much history right off 31 in Tipton county! Beautiful venue for weddings and celebrations. Staff is welcoming and extremely informative. All buildings are original and restored to their original 19th century charm. Grounds are packed with beautiful perrenials and gardens. Handicap accessible. Ample parking. Lots of charm all while providing a step back in time from the Farm House to the barn and one room schoolhouse. Highly recommend! We will be celebrating our Sons and new daughter in laws wedding there in 2021!
