Banda Island Resort

Super nice place to stay for a couple of days. The trip to the island is already nice. A nice boat ride on the Victoria Lake.

It's really beautiful and serene. Lovely place to swim and relax.

I went to this resort in 2016 and I still think about it all the time. Absolutely gorgeous, one of a kind location. The boat ride there was a little harrowing, but worth it!

We had a great time on the Island. It is a beautiful relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the short walk up the hill and to the fishing village at the other side of the island and loved watching the birds. At night there was a camp fire on the beach. The food was simple but very good. We were the only guests at the time, so we really enjoyed the quiet place. The accomodation is basic but clean.

Beautiful place to relax, good value for money, nice fresh food, very friendly and helpful staff who showed us for instance the fisherman’s village and helped us organizing the trip there. They also offer massages, which are great.

Definitely worth a visit!

Great place in the middle of nowhere. It takes 2 hours to go there with the boat from Entebbe, but when you get there you will find heaven. The island is submerged by nature and... spiders! How many! But the people working there are delicious, the food is delicious too and the rooms and the tents are confortable. Unfortunately sometimes there is no electricity because they have solar panels to produce it and when is cloudy the production is low. And the network is good only on one side of the island, but I'm sure you won't need any connection when in nature, unless you are sick like I was 😂

Call it the kingdom of Banda. I like the campfire by the lake side and the people are so caring. Good for relaxing you can take a walk to the nearby fishing village. Last time I was there another fishing village from nearby island was playing football it was nice. I liked the shower under the tree seeing the moon as you shower so nice.

Very nice and quiet. Had a very relaxing time during my 4-night stay here. Staff are wonderful people, and the food are great as well. The water is clean and the dogs are very friendly. Enjoyed the hike across the island, the beautiful birds, and kayaking! =)

Very peaceful and calm place. Well managed accommodation and well cooked food. It is a must visit, very beautiful.

Perfect place to get your mind off work, tasty foods, lovely staffs, beautiful view and amazing tent experience plus lots of fish

Good for small group or family outing. Take some basic tools like tourch, rain suits with you.

Banda Island is the perfect getaway from the chaos that Kampala is.

It's 2 hr boat ride away. The staff are very receptive and cheerful.
While here, you can play games, go kayaking, visit the village next door , go hiking, play volleyball,watch birds or even just relax in the hammock and watch the sun kiss the horizon.

There's a fireplace by the night that allows you to bond with your team mates.

The water is clean and worth a swim especially during the hot days.
I would come back here again and again.

Its was such a nice place. The environment and the cool winds as you wake up early morning makes you forget the noise pollution in most parts of the world
