We went the day before Easter and got great deals! I got an amazing hoodie for just 200.

The best time to visit is between 9am-1pm. The market is closed on Sundays. Most people there are friendly, and if you speak the language, you can really have a good conversation with the locals. In some stores the rates are super high and the shopkeepers are not co-operative, just ignore and leave them. Keep exploring and you'll find great people offering great deals.
