You can have two hours experience starting from visiting all stages of the wine and cognac production process, through Szabo colony museum, includes two movies in specially designed halls and wine tasting at the end. It is impressive how much the company owners invested in sharing the history of the region. The guide is very knowledgeable and delivers excursions in English. The effect is spectacular and is probably the best promotion of Szabo brand for the visitors.

Beautiful place. Really interesting excursion, big area, good wine shop. Unfortunately on the wine tasting there was only 5 kinds. And, actually, they should give people, who don't tasting the wine, some water and crackers. It's not so expensive but looks like care of visitors.

Located a bit faraway from any considerable city, this fully functioning, rebuilt-from-grounds-up winery, the factory, and the museum provide an exciting opportunity to explore the wine making process. From bringing in freshly picked grapes, all the way to bottling the end result. And learning the story of Swiss settlers in Bessarabia while tasting the locally produced wines, too. Highly recommended should you be in the vicinity.

Private tour was outstanding. Our guide was knowledgeable and the VIP wine tasting included the best of Shabo. Must visit winery with a long and rich history. The center captures this history in the many exhibitions.

Great excursion and wine trial! Especially recommend to visit in the end of Aug or September to see the factory gathering and processing grapes harvest.
