We were actually walking to another place for lunch past Rita Steinberg but the beautiful design of this restaurant attracted us, so we decided to have lunch there. We loved the food, their green borsch was just the way it's supposed to be, their falafel with hummus was one of the best we've tried and had very tasty olives. We enjoyed the food so much, we even ordered some to go. Oh, and their menu is written with a touch of humour, which is cool.

Best of traditional Ukrainian Jewish food. Cozy, well decorated restaurant. Superb service.

Fantastic restaurant, one of the best of Chernivtsi! The atmosphere is pleasant and charming! The place is very beautiful and the waiters are really polite and experts! I have been there once, on Friday night, and I didn't need to book, although the restaurant is very small and has few seats. They offer a traditional cousine, we opted for an Half chicken and a bottle of red wine. The chicken was simply fantastic! While you eat, you can listen to live jazz music played by a trio of musician in the restaurant! Give It a try! Trust me.

This restaurant provides the best Jewish-Ukrainian food I have experienced. The prices are incredibly modest, and the food is of remarkable quality. Any trip to Chernivtsi would be lacking without a dinner at Rita Steinberg.

Just exceptional. Would rank in top of any capital. Excellent interior harbours delicious tastes. Yes, it's a simple cuisine, but it is cooked to finest taste.

Visited the restaraunt twice pending my last visit in Chernivtsy. The place is really great. Tasty food, old jewish recepies and some israeli dishes. Good craft and local alcohol. Both my visites were in the middle of the week for a lunch, there was no need for reservation. Highly reccomended

Excellent restaurant. Great dishes and live evening music makes it a perfect place for a calm dinner. It's quite pricy, however, still high value for the money
