Olesko Castle

The castle is not very large and fascinating, but still, there are some things to see. It is kept well and the entrance fee is low. It is surrounded by a beautiful Park, where you can stroll and relax. It is good to go there for a couple of hours, as it is not far from Lviv. The territory of the complex isn't crowded even on weekends.

Not very big but cute castle, full of history, with a museum inside, and magical view from the top of the hill to the valley. The museum still has some pieces of historical furniture, and some paintings. Nice place for family visit.

They manage to keep castle at pretty good condition. Been here 4 times during past 20 years, always nice impression. Its quite small comparing to others, but it has it's charm. Lovely place for weekend tour

If you are in the area or passing by definitely come visit this castle. Make sure to check out the water well. They also have very beautiful old stoves that are work of art.

It's great. People take care of this castle. Also, they made a restaurant in castle. It is said, that it was real dining room.

Beautiful architecture and park in Oleso Castle 🏰

Lovely castle in the countryside that affords a nice view. The museum on the interior is not absolutely necessary to visit, as the original decoration is gone.

As foreigners it is best to take a tour of the Golden horseshoe to access, or use a rental car, as the train station is far away and the bus can be hard to use.

One of the oldest castles in Ukraine. In the castle itself you can see paintings, household items, applied art, tapestries, original furniture, sculptures. In particular, the wooden creations of master Pinzel. You can also wander in the park and go to the Capuchin monastery near the castle.

Simply the best preserved castle. Well worth visiting. Open time is 11am. Just look at my pictures and see how beautiful it is! Best way is to go by car, but tour bus is also ok.
