Lumumba Grill and Berbeque

The food is scrumptious at this local grill house! Hearty portions, well developed flavours and excellent menu. The best part is the meat dishes were soft, paired well with sides and cool shakes and fresh juices! I especially liked the butter chicken, garlic naan, Mongolian beef, rashidi fries with salad and the juices and shakes we ordered. Other items were also excellent including pasta and grill.

Amazing place to have a variety of tasty food and an excellent choice of fresh juices.
The staff are friendly and quick. The management team is professional in how they deal with every client.
I strongly recommend this eatery for anyone looking for great food. The place is family friendly too.

It's one of the best priced places is dar. The Mishkaki is very juicy and succulent. The nundu is simply mouthwatering.

The service is very good on a weekday they do tend to get extremely busy on weekends and holidays so we usually avoid that.

The Ambience is very good although the place is busy the staff are quite good they go around doing what they are supposed to be doing without creating a ruckus. The place has full air-conditioning which makes it very comfortable despite being on the main road.

The proprietor is very accomodating and he makes sure everyone has been served well he usually sends complimentary products to try to your table.

They have some of the best if not the best fresh juices in town and extremely fair priced!. They offer slush options and sugar free options for all the juices.

The chicken (sekela) very juicy and absolutely lip smacking!
The staff are very polite and accomodating even if you have a difficult group.
Only downside would be is parking which can be a problem at times.

Bonus point is they have outdoor seating and can be wheelchair accessible.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lumumba Grill, and I must say, the experience was truly exceptional.

Speaking of the food, Lumumba Grill truly exceeded my expectations. The menu featured a diverse selection of dishes inspired by African cuisine, with an emphasis on bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, there were plenty of options to cater to every palate. I opted for the mandi with chicken, and it was a burst of flavors that delighted my taste buds. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was impeccable.

Felt really lucky visiting this explicit restaurant, the manager wanted us to try out the new drinks' selection that wasn't even on the menu list. And it turned out superbly perfect ✨My personal favorite was the mocktail drink with 8 different fruits. (the pink one)
The mandi(platter) was also good. The bbq was very good as they grilled well.
It's a bit crowded ofcourse because they have good food.
The ambience, the decor is fire🔥there is both indoor and outdoor seating.
Would come back to explore more of the menu!

Delicious affordable food served by friendly staff with cool sidewalk dining atmosphere. Most dishes under 12,000 TZS ($6). I had Fish Tika Masala, Fresh Lime Juice, 2 Roti's and 1L Water for 18,000 TZS. A Definite Delicious Recommend.. DDR 😋

MashaAllah very lovely setting. Prices are very friendly. Tip top service from the waiters/waitresses to the owners. Had an amazing lemon glazed barbecue chicken. I requested for garlic sauce, they normally don't have, they made for me. Definitely a place to come back!

Fast service , affordable prices and tasty food

Very nice place to eat with affordable food and good ambience. Always crowded but don't let this hold you back. I've had their pepper steak with chips and it's the best in town. Will definitely come back
