Gorgeous hotel with great hospitality. Came here for evening drinks at the rooftop restaurant and it is also a great place to catch the sunset and get a nice view.

My husband and I stayed here while traveling through Tanzania with a group of friends. The room service was yummy, beds comfy, views amazing and the restaurant staff downstairs was so kind and helpful. The grounds are lovely and it’s well kept. A great and comfy stay before and after our safari through the Serengeti.

Amazing stay, hotel beautiful, clean, well staffed. Everyone very attentive. Breakfast spread put the middle east to shame.

Amazing hotel, good customer service, nice rooms, and proper foods. They even have a waterfall around there and much more better experience than other hotels visited.

I have a membership card there, the hotel is best recommended for future experiences and holidays for anyone interested.

Truly this was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The hotel itself is quite new (apparently only a couple of years old), and it is beautiful inside and out. The gardens on the property are an especially impressive and a nice touch. It is wonderful to be able to walk around the property to enjoy the impeccable landscaping, as well as the gardens that Melia keeps because of its focus on sustainability.

The service was also always excellent, from bringing items to the room as requested, to the service at meals. Speaking of the meals, the offerings were delicious and varied, allowing us to try so many different things.

If you are staying in or stopping through Arusha, I cannot recommend the Gran Melia highly enough to you!

Great 5-star hotel in Arusha - nice luxury hotel and good service. I gave only 4 star for the service since the rooftop restaurant had some issues. First I spilled my beer on the table but it took the waitress 10 minutes to respond- only then I told them to move me to another table so the can clean up continued. The 2nd issue was the payment- the waitress brought the credit card machine that was unsuccessful with both of the cards I had so she asked me to write down the card number so she can charge me later. When I objected for obvious reasons she took me to her manager who got another machine that was successful with my card.
The saba restaurant was much better with service for the breakfast. We got service that can be expected from this kind of hotel.

We are a tour operator this is one of our favourite and best hotels Arusha. Easy access to the road leading to Moshi, clean and friendly. Quality the upstairs roof top experience is one to not miss, quality food good ambiance .

Our stay here was perfect! Delicious breakfast, tasty coffee and admirable view from our room!!! There is coffee plantation, mini-garden, pool and SPA. Very nice rooftop restaurant. Good service, friendly staff, calm atmosphere and our best impressions about this place!

I had a birthday super with a friend it was so calm we enjoyed every moment ...it wasnt my first time there also its been a go to chill place the drinks and food 👌

The Best Hotel in Arusha Hands down. The Gaderns are exquisite, you can take a walk around the garderns i’ts so relaxing. The rooms are very good and the Breakfast is very broad and incorporate cuisines from around the world. You will most def fikd something to eat no matter where you are from.

Luxury hotel, with a very nice garden, including swimming poil, coffee plantarion and handcraft workshop. Good restaurant with the tarrace looking at mount Merou. Staff personnel superkind, ready to help you everytime. Buffet restaurant at ground floor with wide choice of good food. The rooms are fantastic, with every kind of comfort. Best position to start your safari in Tanzania.

Stayed here one night before starting our safari. Beautiful grounds and room. Food was also excellent as well as the service.

One of the best Hotels in Arusha with great service and rooms are great together with its atmosphere.
It's expensive though!
