Vijiji Center Lodge and Safari

Amazing staff, very welcoming and also we’ve been welcomed by their cute dogs; shadow, zazoo and simba! Rooms so cozy and amazing garden.

Our stay was excellent. We really enjoyed staying right in the village. The food was good and the beer was cold! We did some local tours with our guide Jimmy. The village walk and organic coffee experience was memorable! We also did a safari tour which was memorable to Tarangire National Park. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds were quiet. There was a banana market right behind the Lodge with beautiful colours and options for purchase. Hosts Sandra and Amos were there to help us plan some of our adventures. We recommend this as an option for an authentic experience in Arusha, Tanzania.

Baraka made sure we had a great experience here. The other staff too.
They even let us the router once to put it in our room so we can have internet without problems.
The dogs there were nice.
In general, we enjoyed it. We recommend it.

We used the Vijiji Center as a base for two trips.
Our visit was in the middle of the pandemic on Jan 2021.
Most of the time we were the only guests in the entire resort.
We got a first class treatment.
Leads by Amos, great little "village" in the middle of a crowded Arusha and surrounding.
Kalisti (Calist), the waiter, was literally our private waiter (avoiding to use the word servant but that what he did), and both Kevin and I much much appreciate his assistant, especially at the last day what I was sick.
Our stay was included:
Transport from the airport (expect to at least 40 min drive) - that offer included in both of the packages we've choosed.
A 7 days (6 nights) trek to the summit of the Kilimanjaro (you can custom the packages which presented in the website). That offer include two nights.
A 5 days (4 nights) luxury safari tour include one day Tarangire, 3 days (two nights) in Serengeti and one day (actually half) in NgoroNgoro crater.
We were staying in the Vijiji Center a night between the two adventures and two night after just to relax (and laundry)

Very nice and secure spot to stay just outside of Arusha. Maria and Baracka were very friendly, and made our stay memorable. Stayed for 3 nights book-ending a safari, would highly recommend. Nice beds and hot water showers, food was great, cold beer, and refreshing pool. Wifi was consistent and fast enough to Skype.

Such a nice place in Arusha. Having great customer service with the best and coolest environment you will enjoy while doing your stuff.
