We recently stayed here for 6 nights while working in Morogoro. Our stay was perfect. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Rooms are modern and clean, with hot showers. We ate breakfast and evening meal and the menu was varied and the food delicious. The view from the restaurant is beautiful.
Having the pool is a real bonus at the end of a busy day.
They arranged airport transfers for us also.
Thank you for such a lovely visit. We will be back!

Beautiful place, amazing view, nature lovers that's a place for you to enjoy and meditate🥂. There is a bit of hiking also while walking to this place😁 so you get to see Morogoro town from up there...

The road to get there can be challenging especially if it is raining. Otherwise, great place to stay and eat. The views are amazing and there are a few hiking trails nearby.

best place by far. very nice hotel superb rooms best view and very nice staff. food is excellent from" Zürcher Geschnetzeltem mit Rösti" up to pizza delicious.if you need to relax from the busy African life that's the place to be.

Great view of Morogoro town from the mountain. The food is great, staff are friendly & very helpful.
The road leading there isn’t very good but accessible by cars & motorcycle (“bodaboda”), the view and experience is definitely worth the hustle.
Ideal for:

- Personal away time

- Casual meetings

Everything in this hotel is well organized, so it’s impossible not to love this hotel! The staff is very friendly, the pool is nice, there are different seating areas, the room is spacious, the bathroom is very good etc etc. And.... the view is fantastic!!
Although is not a budget option, it's worth the money, we loved our stay. The staff organised a trip to the Choma falls (motortaxi up, we walked down) and can organize other trips.
Be aware that the last 700 meters towards the lodge are steep and the road is a bit rocky. We had an old model RAV4 and the car made it without any problems. Just good to know in advance.

We had great memories with my partner. The staff is friendly and the service is A plus.

Incredible staff, exquisite food even for vegetarians, clean and comfortable rooms, Best view from mountain side at very fair prices. I will absolutely return and recommend highly!! love the house roasted coffee and cheese fondue! Dont miss out on this place. 🥰

Best vantage point in Morogoro. Food is good. Parking is limited.

Definitely the best place to stay in Morogoro! Amazing view from restaurant and rooms. The room was cozy, clean, well equipped and intriguingly designed. You can immediately feel that the hotel is the work of a passionate and true professional. The staff is very nice. Delicious food and large portions. Oh and most importantly: they have their own coffee, which is delicious! I recommend to everyone!

Edelwyss Inn is a very good hotel. The food is good, rooms are very nice, staff is very friendly and the beds are perfect. The prices are fine as well. If you add the excellent service of the manager, than there’s only one conclusion possible: perfect!

The best place to get stranded! Big clean modern well made rooms. Excellent restaurant (order the Swiss rösti and geschnetzelltes). But most of all the owners Harald and Jamila. They helped us repair the busted gearbox. They helped us all the way. We left with new friends.

Was excellent, we really enjoyed the view and food. Good customer service. It’s our second visit and we are wishing to come back next time.

The view is breathtaking! The hotel is located on the hill of a mountain. You can get an amazing view of the city of Morogoro from the restaurant.

We didn't get booking so just went for 8 hours there. The place is built with attention to details, each and every area is designed and constructed very diligently, and it's well maintained, unlike other places. Food was amazing, so was masala chai. And the view from rooftop restaurant to see Morogoro is a scene to remember!

Lovely place with great view over Morogoro, friendly staff,nice rooms, and overall great atmosphere. A little hard to find, though, as it is not properly indicated on Google maps.

My favorite place in Morogoro. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the view itself is worth the entire experience. I've been here many times this year and can boldly say its the best place in Morogoro

Place is nice and can see full morogoro from here services are good but restaurant is expensive compared to all morogoro good restaurant that's why this place still not attracting customer. Restaurant and rooms price should be reduced by 20 percentage.
