Fukufuku Campsite

Great place to stay outside Serengeti NP for a very reasonable price! They have wifi and amazing shower/bathroom. We spent a night here before entering the park and really enjoyed it!

The best campsite we have stayed at in Tanzania so far. The owner Richard was very friendly and helpful and arranged a guide for us in the park and provided delicious packed lunches for during our safari. Would absolutely recommend!

What a great place! We stayed here for 5 nights and just loved it. Richard is such a nice, helpful and honest person and he runs the place with passion. There are many trees for shade, hammocks and swings to hang out and nice and clean ablution blocks (with hot water) and dishwashing area. You will also find some chicken and ginea fowl roaming around. There is a little hut with tables (with fuses to charge electronical devices) to eat inside if it is raining. As a guest you can also use the kitchen. The staff also provides DELICIOUS vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. We had breakfast everyday because we liked it so much (including yummy homemade bread, omelett, mango slices, chips, tea/coffee and a fresh mixed juice!), and also dinner one night which was incredibly tasty!
We have been traveling in Africa for half a year and stayed on over 25 different campsites (mostly in Namibia) and we must admit that Fuku fuku is one of the best campsites we have been to. Highly recommended! Thank you, Richard + staff!

Richard and his son were amazing hosts. This camping is out of this World. Clean, nicely maintained and beautiful. Bathrooms were cleaner than in some nice hotels we stayed in Africa. Hot water. Beautiful tiles and bamboo doors. Just perfect. But the best part were the hosts. They would go out of their way to make sure you were really happy.

The shower are great, hot and very clean!
