Olerai Lodge - Mateves, Kisongo, Arusha

Wonderful Lodge in Arusha. A hidden gem: quite and peaceful location within beautiful gardens. Very tasteful boutique-style ambience and nice pool. Impeccable service, and the best food we had was here!
For us, it was the the prefect place to start and end the safari, en route to Zanzibar, as only 15 minutes away from the domestic airport. Thanks Hosanna and the whole team.

The rooms, service, and food are all excellent here. The location is also solid, close to Arusha airport, however the road to get here is very poor.

We stayed both before and after safari and it was one of the worst roads the whole time. It can be a bit intimidating if this is your first time in Tanzania (we were wondering what we had done when driving in) however would not let that keep you away. Once you get there, it is a fantastic place to start / end your journey.

We started our safari with a night here before heading into the bush for the rest of the week. Olerai was a wonderful place to stay after a long travel journey - it was beautiful, clean, welcoming, and tranquil. It had a lovely pool//bar/dining area. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. They provide potable water. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and gourmet. Wonderful experience !

Olerai Lodge was great! The rooms were big and comfy, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super nice. We loved our short stay there during our safari in June 2023.

Friendly staff, located near Arusha airport and good for trips to Arusha national park. Lot’s of monkeys in the garden.

This Lodge is so beautiful and the People working here are just so friendly and helpful. The food is so delicious!

We can only say that our stay here at the Olerai Lodge was beautiful!

Simply beautiful I cannot say enough about this lodge, absolutely stunning. The facilities, staff, food, location and rooms are simply unrivaled.
During our trip after 6 locations were couldn't have stayed anywhere better on our last few days.

Loved this place! If I had known how amazing it was I would have booked one night more. We arrived in the middle of the night and they still set up this amazing meal for us. The rooms are amazing and breakfast too. Also breathtaking garden area where you relax completley. Only downside was the bumpy road to get there but I forgot all about that ones we arrived. Hope to be back one day!

Lovely place near Arusha in the middle of the nature. Sweet rooms well equipped and with amazing view. The breakfast buffet was amazing and dinner menu succulent. The staff is helpful and assisting with a wonderful smile.

What a charming lodge with all the trappings of excellence. Friendliness, Excellent cuisine, elegant and comfortable rooms , great service. One of the newest Lodges in Arusha. Lovely design of the rooms. Main house is superb and very cosy and has a pool. Food was awesome! Best place to stay in Arusha.
