The Tanzanite Experience

Junaid Khan and his "TEAM" of coworkers were AWESOME in helping me with my ring creation/purchase experience. I can't count how many emails were sent back and forth. He/they were the MOST patient human beings with me in this whole process from inquiring about stones down to setting creations.
This has been by far the BEST shopping experience of my life online! I will definitely consider another purchase in the future!

I came to visit the free museum and ended up falling in love with a brown tanzanite I later put on a ring! The store has some beautiful pieces of jewellery and stones. The staff is very kind and patient, and doesn't push you to buy anything but is very helpful if you have an idea in mind and would like to find something suiting you

Guide at the museum was very competent and explained everything in details. Cool aspect of the place is that they have replicated the mine shaft inside the museum/shop. The place also offers complementary drinks

Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and patient staff - my wife and I spent a lot of time here shopping for amazing Tanzanite - beautiful stones that come from this beautiful country of Tanzania. The store offers a very informative video and in person presentation on how the stones are mined, cut and polished. Fun experience too. Jackline who helped us with our purchases was amazing. It is really worth the stop if you want to learn about Tanzanite! The jewelry they have is beautiful and I LOVE the Masai woman's collection - it’s less expensive and sooo beautiful with the raw form of tanzanite. Joyce was an amazing guide and great at explaining everything! She was clear and kept the tour interesting without it feeling too long. I also appreciated how no one was pushy and there wasn’t pressure to purchase anything. I definitely recommend if you are in Arusha!

I added a photo of the Masai collection because you really can’t find anything like it at other tourist stores. Everything is duty free so that’s another plus!

I had a wonderful experience with The Tanzanite Experience. As a lover of fine-jewellery, I knew I wanted to invest in a special piece during my trip and did a fair amount of research before visiting. I stopped by the museum in Arusha which was also great, before taking a look at their loose stone collection. I found a stone I fell in love with, and after chatting with my wonderful sales associate Joy, I decided to go ahead with having a bespoke necklace made. I was able to meet with the jeweler who would craft my piece, and also access the stone for myself and was super impressed with the quality.

Despite it being over Easter the team were super accommodating, ensuring they understood the exact details of the of the piece I wanted, and being able to meet me at Kilimanjaro Airport with the finished piece. Joy kept me updated via Whatsapp through out the process, sharing pictures of my piece as soon as it was completed which I loved.

Since receiving my necklace I have worn it everyday - I am so happy with the quality of the piece. I was super specific about little details I wanted and they executed each of these perfectly.

If you're looking to invest in Tanzanite or Tsavorite jewellery I couldn't recommend them more!

Our hotel, The Arusha Hotel, had a Tanzanite Experience store in the lobby. The customer service that Joyce gave to us was above and beyond. She was very knowledgeable about each piece of jewelry and very patient as I looked at different pieces and asked questions. I would recommend the Tanzanite Experience to anyone who is looking to purchase the gemstone or to even learn more about tanzanite.

We had a good introduction to tanzanite at the Tanzanite Experience in Arusha.

We went through a mini-tour (including an informative video) about tanzanites, starting from how it's formed, to determining the quality of the polished stone.

Ally took care of the whole process for us. He was helpful; and never pushy to force us to buy an item. We ended up buying tanzanite with excellent bVI color.

Bought my wife engagement ring here a few years back and still super super happy with the quality. Can recommend 100%!

Very interesting and eye opener. I learnt so much I did not know about Tanzanites. Even being born and raised in Arusha and exposed to Tanzanite stones for many years of our life, I still managed to be amazed with the knowledge I gained from visiting the museum. I also bought a very nice pendant for my wife birthday. The quality of the stones are very nice.
