This cafe is outstanding for its gluten free variety of foods . I was amazed to have a yummy pizza which dint even feel gluten free . Highly recommend for treating your taste buds even when on a diet . Must try super special ginger tea . Chaats are mouthwatering too. Good food is good mood ☺

They offer varieties and especially suitable for vegetarian and vegan dishes. The manager/owner is very friendly and she will be sure to walk you through the menu and share her personal favorites

The cheesy potatoes and veggie paninis was really delicious with a nice touch of the cassava fries. Yumm!

A tiny yet very well maintained restaurant with a charming ambience.
The food served was really fresh and the portions very generous. We ordered a panini and cheese paratha, both of them were a hit.The masala chai is worth trying too :)

As a family we normally have 2-3 set restaurants we visit for our weekly Sunday brunch, we’ve just added another one to our list after today’s visit, the food was absolutely amazing, we tried over 10 things from the menu and each item tasted as good as it sounded on the menu! Their healthy food options along with the smoothies are refreshing and their home made bread is to die for! None of the things we ordered let us down to the point we kept ordering more and more things!

The ambience was cosy and the service from their staff was excellent! We can’t wait to be back!

Nice place, good food, pleasant and calm ambience. They have several vegetarian and healthy food options. They also serve gluten free, sugar free and vegan options on request.

Have been to this place many times. One of my fav places in Dar . As a nutritionist I am always looking out for options where I can eat guilt free Baobab gives me all healthy options of gluten free pizza bases,panni and their bread is just amazing Would personally recommend this place for all these options and other options as well Sharing the pics of gluten free bread and the pizza

I and my daughter moved to Dar few months back and we have been to few restaurants and Baobab is one of our favourites. Not only the food but the serene surroundings add extra joy of enjoying their mouth watering delicious food. My fav, spinach and cheese panini 😋 just can’t get enough of it. The best part of Baobab is you can tell the quality of ingredients they use and it shows up in every dish… it’s very health friendly and carefully prepared for keeping the well-being of their customer in mind. It feels very homely food. Ah their fried mogo, cheese baked pasta and magic portion and how can I forget those little swirls rolls … I can’t remember the names but I surely remember the delicious taste 😀. One can never disappoint there!

Visited Baobab Bistro a quiet garden cafe in Masaki. Had the mohgo fries which were very crunchy n very different from other places. The Asian chicken wings had a sweet n sour taste and I enjoyed them. Ordered masala chai which is unlike any in Dar - strong and spicy. The place has a great vibe and are open for breakfast till evening. If you want to enjoy a peaceful meal this is the place to be.

Baobab Bistro is one of the most reliable restaurants in Dar. I have gotten the weekly office lunch sets which are incredible value plus healthy and tasty. Everything is so warm and homemade that I find myself returning to it again and again. I recently tried their wholewheat carrot cake with orange buttercream and it is one of the best carrot cakes I have had. Not too sweet, flavourful, spice-rich and decadent. I have also had the panini tuna melt which was equally delicious. Baobab is the gift that keeps giving and the service from Shella and her team is fabulous. Thank you for all you do and I can't wait to keep exploring the different offerings at Baobab!

I had a delicious healthy meal here. Portions are good size, service is quick and has the best gluten free and Vegan options in Dar. I'm very impressed and would highly recommend.

One of the rare restaurants in Dar that serve healthy and nutritious food options which are absolutely delicious too!! It has a great vibe with very happy and bright staff serving you!! It has become my favourite space to work outside the office. Oh also very price friendly and huge portions!!

I’ve had food from the owner even before the bistro came to life. Her golden heart & magical fingers full food with flavour! The tiffins (packed lunch boxes) are a must try. bon appétit! Asante saana
