Arusha Backpackers Hotel

The staff is wonderful! So friendly and helpful. The room is great for the price. Hot shower, decent breakfast. I enjoyed the rooftop terrace

The hostel is in a great location. Rooms and shared toilets are clean. They have an amazing rooftop with cold beers. It is true that it is placed in a busy road but you can use earplugs to have a pleasant sleep. The manager was very nice and always checking that our stay was good.

If you end up going there, ask for Gibson, he is amazingly friendly, he is studying tourism in a nearby school and can take you to meet his classmates as a chance to do a language exchange.

Close to the station and nearby center. Cool cafe on other side of the road. Great staff!! And you can leave the backpack there. They’re always open- the Masai guard is sleeping just behind the door.

Arusha Backpackers is a very nice hostel. We stayed there before and after the safari for 3 nights in total. It's not a luxury hotel but for the price you pay you get all you need. The breakfast is a little buffet with bread, spread, cornflakes, dates and watermelon as well as coffee and different kind of teas. The washrooms are clean and the showers have hot water. The rooms are a little small but clean and the beds are comfortable. They have a big terrace on the roof where you can buy drinks. The staff is very very friendly. The location is perfect if you want to explore Arusha or go on safari. They have a big luggage room where you can leave your bags if you go on safari. All in all this is a very good Hostel and I would recommend to stay there.

I thank the management and staff of Backpackers. They were very warm and easy to talk to. Very neat washrooms and rooms. Very affordable.

This Hostel is like home and I was sad to leave. The staff is so friendly, helpful and talkative that I really felt welcome and comfortable. The rooms are not that big but all is clean and functional. To share the bathrooms feels like camping. The breakfast is amazing and included in the good price.
Because of the very central position it's loud at night and you need a good sleep. Therefore all is in walking distance.

Really good place. The staff is nice and even when we didmt have booking and we just showed up late in the evening they found a room for us.
Breakfast is poor but there is also coffe and tea. Duting tje day you can drink coke with the nice view.

This is a very good budget accommodation in the center of Arusha. The special private rooms are tiny so it's not comfortable for long term stay, but for the price they are perfect for a couple of nights. The place is clean and staff professional. The restaurant is expensive, so I didnt try the food. The bufet breakfast is above average.

Very nice hostel with a huge terrace on top! The service was great, the toilets/showers also! The rooms are very small but we only sleep there so it was ok :)

Awesome cost compared to the services offered. Nice Wifi at the rooftop which Goes to a floor down or so.

Great sitting space at the roof top. Good service at the reception. Note, when they say special rooms, they mean it ironically. They're okay nonetheless.

Very nice rooftop with bar. Bathroom is very clean. Staff was even cleaning at 11pm. Rooms are good and quiet.

Good food, cheap clean rooms, friendly staff with excellent English, very central, good coffee. Breakfast poor enough but option to buy English breakfast is good

Has everything you need - hot showers, a restaurant and WiFi. Restaurant is more expensive than local food, so head across the road for dinner.

Really good hostel with decent breakfast . Cramped toilets though - fine if you're short like me!
