Yilan Station

Very cute area, the attention to details was incredible. And got a million questions about the giraffe, flaying train, the pedestrian crossing and the guy with the shark etc. A gold mine for kids, great job

A train station in Yilan City. You can see a some decorations inspired by Jimmy Liao, a Taiwanese artist, outside the train station. The lobby isn’t so spacious but clean and cozy.

Small but intimate station. You can literally smell the history. If you're fascinated by old train stations be sure to do a quick stop here. Taiwanese railways certainly have a lot of history, dating back to the japanese occupation.

Oh love the Giraffe... and it is a small but essential stop along the railway...

A unique train station, one of the cleanest train toilets in Taiwan, and I've been to quite a few. A girraffe is located on top for pictures, as well as grass horses and picturesque scenes nearby.

Train station is neat and clean, has a 7-11 convenience store.

Train station is nothin special. Cool entrance with art work. The neighboring area is fun and would recommend getting a hotel near Yilan station as it is centralized to all of Ilan township.
