Slobber: Casual American Diner

Very very good food. We had beef burrito, shrimp burrito and nachos. Very satisfied. Note, some English issues with menu . . . eggplant burger is actually turkey burger not eggplant. Still we quite like the place. Worth the visit. Edit a year later. Still good.

Delicious burgers and shakes ! Owner is super friendly, it’s pricey for taiwan and there’s a service charge but it’s worth the visit once in a while!

The most authentic burger we had in Yilan. We miss the burger without Taiwanese twist. This is as good as it gets. Feel like back home.

Burrito was great. Portion too big for me though. Share a plate if you're a small eater. Service is good too. Parking lot right across the road and in the department store basement parking lot one block down.

Went there twice, the food is great and not too expensive.

Had some little stone in the salmon spinach pasta, probably because they didn't wash the spinach well enough, and well, it destroys your teeth when you chew stones.

But well, they refunded me the pasta (without having me asking, i just told them their pasta had stones and showed it to them), will say it was just bad luck, the food is still great, just take care of stones.

The thick and juicy cheese burger covered by lava peanut butter. It's the best taste in Yilan for me.

One of the best burgers I've had in Taiwan. Worth a try if you're craving something western after all the local food in Yilan.

Love the ambiance! A great restaurant if you’re in the mood for a good ol American dish. Also it’s very near Dongmen night market which you can also go to.

I can’t believe it’s been over five years here in Yilan and our first time dining at Slobber’s American Diner. Here is their double mushroom Swiss and Blue Cheeseburger, which blew me away. 💥

If you're near Yilan and have a yen for American diner, this is the place! Burgers are excellent. We had the bleu cheese burger and the cheeseburger. Singles were well cooked and filling. Had a coffee-chcolate milkshake and a side of onion rings. The rings were great as was the shake. The fries were dead on and the hashbrowns the most legit I've had in years. Highly recommended!

A great place for Burgers. We also had pancakes and breakfast. The burgers are the best in Yilan! The shakes were also great. Highly recommend and will come back again the next time we are in town.

Great food. Reasonable price. Pretty fast. Great place to go after watching a movie next door. They toast the bun if their hamburgers so that they are very delicious. The French fries are great. They have breakfast all day and the eggs Benedict are fantastic.

Love this place more and more. Great Ruben sandwich and now they have local Craft beer. Perfect combo!

Fry steak and Salmon benedict egg are so great.

The fried chicken is juicy and nicely crispy, and the French fries have a nice crunch on the outside. This is surprisingly tasty American joint to find in Yilan. When one of our orders was incorrect, they went out of their way to correct it and gave us a free drink while we waited for the corrected order. All around a great spot.

I've been to this place a few times now when I holiday to Taiwan and I will return there everytime... The burgers are very tasty and true to western style burgers and the meals are always a good size and we'll presented like the photos. The staff are always very friendly towards me and my family and the waitress always makes an effort to talk to me in English as my mandarin is a notch below sub-standard. It's clear the cook and staff take pride in their work and I'm looking forward to coming back in 2019... Keep up the great work ✌

It was a surprise to find this great spot in a small town of Taiwan. Most importantly the food was great, high quality and fresh. The place was very clean and kid friendly. You will see a lot of youngsters chilling, enjoying burgers here. If your stopping over for lunch on your way to Taipei, this is the place.
