Lakeshore Hotel Yilan

The level of service rendered at this hotel is truly exceptional. I have not experienced anything as excellent throughout my interstate travels in Taiwan this year (Jan 2024).

The minute our private van pulled up at the drop-off point, there was a lady "bellboy" who offered to take all 5-7 pieces of our baggage via the trolley. At the check-in counter, another lady staff asked if our driver needed a car park ticket and kindly explained all the details of our room in a clear and calm manner.

When we went up to the rooms, the same "bellboy" lady asked if we needed a bed rail (after seeing my toddler lying on the bed). Within 5 minutes, another male staff comes to set up the bed rail within mere seconds! It was truly impressive.

It's these small things which the staff are so attentive to, that makes the stay here truly exceptional.

Location wise, the hotel is honestly a bit remote with nothing much nearby if you do not have a car.

The hotel is very popular with local Taiwanese travellers. Even the buffet breakfast seems catered for their locals instead of international travellers.

There's also a children's play area upstairs that is very suitable for toddlers.

I would definitely recommend this hotel in a heartbeat for anyone traveling to Yilan/Luodong!

Best ever stay in Yilan! Every single part of the hotel stay is perfect!

Food - love the 7.30 to 13.30 pm breakfast till lunch spread. Huge variety with a focus on local specialties. Best part is no need to abide by the 10am timing which most hotels end their breakfast. You can eat anytime after you wake up.

Room - good size with roomy bathroom. Smart TV is good except occasional signal lapses. Bathroom is well equipped with bath tub and water temperature is stable. There's a focus on sustainability as well where drinking water is available at the corridor.

I’ve dreamt of the wide drainage for every hotel I’ve been to. I got it here. No more clogs.

They proposed to combined two kings and installed bed guards for us.
The design of the room is purposeful.
Staff was helpful.

Bed was comfortable and clean.

The hotel was quite enjoyable for my family. The small Instagram like roof area was delightful for my kids. Breakfast also had a good variety that pleased the little ones.

The lobby style is simple yet not overly luxurious, creating a peaceful atmosphere that allows all guests to relax and enjoy their holiday trips. You will notice that all the receptionists are always smiling and considerate, providing you with an impressive image of this hotel.
The brunch arrangement will undoubtedly provide you with an unforgettable experience. A wide range of culinary delights and special gourmet styles allow for unlimited enjoyment. Tasting fresh fruits, sipping on delicious juices, and enjoying a flavorful coffee are essential choices for all guests after a satisfying meal. My family stayed at the restaurant for over an hour and a half.

Clean and spacious rooms, great service. Rooms provide free soft drinks and apple juice. I stayed here for three nights with elderly membersand young kids. Decent breakfast 🥐🍳. Strongly recommend this hotel to everyone . I would be good if there is a swimming pool.

Location is remote and one will definitely need a car here. There is free parking available in the basement carpark and an overflow surface carpark. Rooms are huge, and you can tell that there is much thought put into the room design. The furnishings are of high quality and as this hotel seems quite new, the rooms are well maintained as of now. Good view of the surroundings as it is the highest building for now. Comfortable enough should you wish to just relax at the hotel. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway in Yilan.

Clean and quiet room. Comfy bed. High water pressure. Free mini bar. Excellent service. Buffet breakfast with a large selection. Breakfast is served till 1:30pm! Free bike rental and plenty of free parking. Will definitely come back.

Their staff are extremely friendly. They also offer so many activities in this hotel. It's quite cool they held the party at night especially for family or Kids, but not for the 20s. Really good place to live. The room and the meal are really fascinating! Just they don't have the tub in the room.

A very classy hotel with exceptional hotel staff that makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable. The check in process was excellent, the room wasn’t ready yet and we were invited to the restaurant for a welcome drink and some snacks. A great hotel for families with young Children as they have a bubble themed playroom at the rooftop and they organise nightly parties at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel on the south side of Yilan. Centrally located and off the main roads for a quiet stay. Beautiful views, modern, and clean. Excellent service, large rooms, and 3 levels of parking (2.2 meter height limit). Breakfast is Taiwan style, with Western cereal choices, and Japanese style choices.

Nice staff, clean and spacious room. Good CP value Hotel. Just near train station around 4km. Nice bubble space for kids to. Play on the roof 1 and 2. By the way, parking lot is spacious on basement.
