Shanshui Beach

A wonderful clean beach.
There’s no shops or restaurants on the beach, no chairs or umbrellas. It’s just a beach. ❥

You can find a convenience store nearby.
It seems to get more visitors after 5pm when the sun isn’t so hot, which I would also recommend.

Some jelly fish reported but I’ve not seen or experienced them.

This is the most clean and beautiful beach of all the beaches I have been to in this month. The sand is white and delicate. The sea water is hilariously clean. Overall , the view here is excellent and it's worthy to spend the whole day here.

Beautiful beach and not many people. There is also a possibility to rent a surfing board, but you will need to walk a bit from the shop to the beach.

The beach is beautiful and water is very clean. Come in late afternoon to enjoy the gorgeous sunset too. There is water to wash after swim.

Could easily say one of the best beaches in Penghu. Great atmosphere, clear water and white sand. Place has a very relaxing vibe.

Shanshui is a fairly nice sand beach, along with most of Penghu's south coast beaches : it's pretty nice to go with friends, swim or chill on the sand.
PS : There's a 7/11 near the beach, as well as an electric scooter charging station

By far the most beautiful beach on the island! If you are exploring the island, this beach is a must visit!

Beautiful beach. a little desolate when I was here, but it truly is magical.

This sandy beach is clean, free of litter, has showering (NT 10 for 3 minutes) and changing facilities. No rocks, just beautiful sand and clear waters.

Coarse sanded beach, kids liked the fact that there are less pebbles and shells that might hurt their feet but this place has limited parking spots available. We had to park along the street.

Serene and calm. Spend some time here walking along the beach. Enjoy the scorchingly hot sunny vibe. Sunbathing here is perfect!

Water is very clear! Sand grain maybe 1mm diameter (bigger than the typical beach) but overall still feels soft. Nice coin shower area nearby, have some 10nt’s ready.

This place is quiet and clean. The sand is fine, comfy to walk on, and suitable for all beach activities. You are likely to share the entire area with only a few other groups. One of the best beaches I ever visited. If you visit Penhu without visiting here, you are missing out.

I have been to many places but Shanshui beach is one of them that makes me reminiscent. I was not expecting it be so beautiful in my first visit. During this pandemic time, this place is such a great getaway! Sincerely hope this place will be like this forever, without any damage like what the tourists would usually do in some famous beaches like Waikiki.

If you can only go for one beach in Penghu, I’ll say Let it be here!!!!!

One of the best beach in penghu! Can’t resist to go everyday if you’re a beach person! Clear water, quiet, and few beers! It’s awesome! Watch out for the tiny jellyfish when you go for a swim in the morning.

Beautiful Beach with free fit room and fresh water shower area. Clean transparent seawater, shining golden and fine sands. That's all free natural blessing places, don't miss the beach.

Clear and warm water end of September, plus soft and white sand. Not crowded at all. Love it !
