The area around the light house is a beach with several sea water pools. Beach is clean and easily accessible. Not washrooms or amenities. It's a great spot for sunset watching

A wonderfully maintained lighthouse and immaculately kept garden surrounding it. Great views of the coast line (obviously it is a light house.

Nice little respite if walking or biking the coast, clean public restrooms.

The staff I dealt with were friendly and welcoming even though it was very close to closing when I arrived.

The coastline looks like Rottnest island in Perth Australia. A spot that you can see the ocean, sunset, and stars. Not far from the Main Street and the fishing harbor either. Highly recommended.

There is a really cool sea water lake just next to it. Perfect spot for spending the afternoon.
Going with kids should be really safe cause the lake isn't deep at all.

The best swimming hole on the entire island...and the reason for that is simply that they haven't changed anything. Example is how the natural salt water hot springs lost its appeal after major buildings were erected.

if you have played "Wii sports resort" before, you will suspect this is the actual live-version of the game island... hah... very nice place to visit in summer.
