Youzihu

A cave hollow opening with a view of the ocean. Few good rocks for posing and photogenic background. A bit if walk to get to. Bikes and motorcycle can enter the near by beach to access this location.

So beautiful! The rock formations are amazing. The cave is a great place to have a little break from the hot sun.
(Navigating the rocks can be a little dangerous, be careful of slipping)

Water is crystal clear! Lots of marine life swimming around. It’s a little deep, and goes into a dark cave. When the sun shine through the water, the under watery scenery just became ever so magical. It was serene and unreal! Luckily, I was there before any tour group showed up. I was able to enjoy the quietness for a brief moment.

Rugged landscape, proof of the volcanic origin of the island. Beautiful scenery with a feel of Kong island. Get some good shoes, the rocks are sharp. There are also beautiful natural pools.

The place is otherworldly amazing! Rock formations creating small pools of water with many crabs, small fish and even corals. We spent hours exploring the area and we found a different world behind every corner. Beware of the waves, they are both magnificent and dangerous if you get to close on the slippery rocks. Bring some good shoes to be able to explore safely. 🌊

Great view in Green Island despite cloudy weather! Will definitely come back here again in future.

Absolutely loved the beach and would go back again. Easily one of the best spots on the island.

沿著環島公路依循指標彎進小道，開始陡降一路抵達停車處。柚子湖並不是湖，而是一個早年開發的小漁村，所謂「湖」，其實是閩南語「澳」音之訛變 ，其為重要的史前遺址，日治時期便頗受學者重視

該處附近擁有最富變化的海岸，有珊瑚裙礁、白色珊瑚礁貝砂灘、黑色柚子湖集塊岩、火山岩頸等地質景觀；附近有海蝕洞，洞前有裙狀的珊瑚礁石，造型更是千奇百怪，惟步行須留心腳步，除了避免摔倒受傷，更重要的是別傷及潮間帶生物與螃蟹。

Youzihu is located in the north of Haishenping. It used to be a small fishing village. Although all the residents have moved away, the traditional houses made of coral reefs remain distinctive.

The seascape next to Youzihu is the most natural and varied coast of the entire Lüdao. There are fringing reefs, white coral reef shell sand beaches, black Youzihu agglomerates, volcanic rock necks and other geological landscapes. There are also sea caves nearby, with fringing reefs of various shapes at the opening of the caves. These fringing reefs are great spots to observe the intertidal zone creatures and crabs.

沿著環島公路上會有一個彎進柚子湖的地方，騎進去後就可抵達。
柚子湖是綠島早年開發的一個仰賴漁業的村落，從前有許多人居住於此，隨著遷村及生活型態的轉變，目前已經無人居住。

此處有著全綠島最自然、最富變化的海岸，有珊瑚裙礁、白色珊瑚礁砂灘、黑色柚子湖集塊岩、火山岩頸等地質景觀。在不同的時間過來可以欣賞到不同的景色，但行走時要注意安全。

看到指示牌再往下騎，大約2分鐘就到，很多石頭騎車要小心，路面不好走拍照的時候也要小心唷！

1.沿著柚子湖往內走，會到達翠湖，沿路都是礁岩，建議還是要穿好走且包覆性的鞋子。
2.翠湖像是一個碗的形狀，浪會從邊邊打進來，但翠湖的水面是很平穩的，儘管是滿潮的時候也很適合過去（但如果風太大就不建議了）；翠湖的周邊有比較淺的平台，很淺適合踩踩水，不過湖的中央非常的深（水的顏色越淺藍代表深度越深，聽說好像會有4、5公尺高），好像還是個適合的跳水地點，建議想過去游泳的人，還是要非常注意安全，建議還是會游泳再過去。

導航柚子湖，停好機車以後往左手邊走會到一個大石頭，石頭旁邊就可以下水玩水，很安全的地方，岸邊踩得到地，如果停車的方向往一點鐘走，可以去翠湖，但是要走過一段珊瑚礁，一直往最裡面走，就會看到左右邊各一個天然水池，那邊也可以跳水，就是大小翠湖，但是似乎有水母，要小心生態，好玩推推。

要從小路進去才能到的地方，以入口為界，左右兩側步行5分鐘都有壯麗景致，右邊的柚子湖本身是由充滿孔洞的礁石組成，隨著潮水漲退，嶄露不同風貌
建議穿好防滑的蠍子與充滿電的攝影設備，因為美景會在走的每一步，仰望之間
