Asia University Museum of Modern Art

Loved this museum, not too large and not too small, a lot of beautiful light and space. The exhibits were lovely and the interactive paintings by local artists was very special. They also had a fun exhibit on tigers for this lunar new year.
The museum shop has nice things, we bought a few things for the kids. The cafe is behind the shop, it’s a beautiful space but the food variety is very limited. They heavily advertised the beef noodle al over the restaurant but when we ordered at 12 noon, it was the last bowl available 🤷🏻‍♀.

The architecture of this building is beautiful! It has a lot of natural lighting so it is a nice place to take picture. The art there is all by artists who have attended Asia University. The staff were very nice. It is $230NT to get in, and it only took me about 45 minutes to see all of the galleries. I loved the gift shop. The café has some absolutely beautiful and delicious food- I loved my matcha latté and the Italian chicken salad was honestly one of the best salads I've ever had! Overall, this place may be a bit expensive to visit (by Taiwan standards), but I had a lovely experience.

Great place to walk in
With a cafe at the first floor, staff would recommend to visit the gallery first for the coupon of the cafe. The building itself is a masterpiece and its always great to take picture of it.

Take time to walk around the museum, the shop and eat a wonderful dessert in a place with a gorgeous view!

The museum sets up a new exhibition every 6months, following the university's semester. The exhibitions are all curated to educate and inspire not only the students but the locals around. Although it charges $250 NTD for entrance, it's definitely worth it.

Wonderful exhibits during my visit! The website tells what's happening. Museum architecture is unique--three stacked triangular levels. The first level has an auditorium, gift shop, and cafe. Interesting sculptures surround the museum.

Artistic modern art museum in the middle of campus. This semeser, the museum shows modern arts related with theme language of flowers. You should visit if come to Taichung.

This place is very beautiful the arts are beautiful and nearby places are very good for family enjoyment.

Beautiful place. Was amazed by the painting and Arts.

Visited the flower painting exhibition with master pieces of Chen Jinlong and other great artists. Really great exhibition, though the labeling of works were inconvenient. The building is also very interesting, with visiting for the sake of interest in architecture. The place is quite far away from the city, so you need to reserve enough time to reach the site. There is also an art shop, but I cannot comment on that because had to rush away.

Love Ando's design..simple but elegant. The show "Forever Young" was great..creative and impressive. Plan about one hour. General admission $250 NTD. With student id $220 NTD.
