Yunlin Story House

Love this place! Very interesting Bamboo exposition, a lot of books and interesting people and nice staff! In summer is many shadow to hide from sun.

the staff were very friendly and excited to tell about the building and what they do there. they also have a library of picture books about Yunlin County.

Good place for preserving the heritage and educating the children. Highly recommend to spend some time here

Worth a visit for sure. It features a well-preserved Japanese residence, with a lot of Taiwanese history, a great little coffee/gift shop, and a lot of places to linger and enjoy, as well as events--also some nice organic farmers markets on the weekend.

Authentic Japanese style house~

A very cozy place for children and their parents to drop by on weekends. Children can learn about history and other interesting lessons. Staff here can speak English.

History Museum

入內需一人50元的維護費，一進去就會有志工姊姊詳細介紹著虎尾及這棟建築的許多故事，然後聽完故事後就可以自行參觀這棟日式老宅，進去前先幼稚的在外面院子把古時候的玩具都操作了一下，頗有一番回味，裡面維持算不錯，台語地區也有志工會協助幫忙，發現原來自己台語程度還不錯，發現許多畫，後來詢問是一個外國人鐵嶺在這的時候所畫的，線條很幽默，幫這老建築加分不少，也希望大家繼續支撐，讓故事館可以一直延續承傳下去！

清幽的日式老房，整棟建築物有大量木頭構造，內部隔間處處巧思，精選的繪本滿佈文人書香。年輕的志工小姐很用心導覽故事館四周，遊客當中有高齢的老者，也會友善使用台語講解。
屋外庭園維護的很漂亮，有些場景甚至很有拍MV的感覺，隨手拍都很好看…戶外一隅也有些童玩和益智桌遊，備些零錢還有好吃的水果冰棒唷！
故事館都會準備主題性的生活經驗和講座分享，靜下心來聆聽或許會感受到更遠的眼界。
臨走前，我們剛好望向門口旁邊的小樹屋，女兒說很可愛，讓人忍不住駐足觀賞。志工小姐說有跟分享大家分享故事的孩子，可以上到樹屋第二層探索裡面的世界，只是最近小樹屋維修中，也許下次去就開放了。

工作人員都超熱心，雲林居民免費入場，裡面玩具設施也投幣而已，要拍影片需要事先申請。可以認識百年官宅真的很讚。

❤缺點就是蚊子滿多的，而且不太怕防蚊液
如果有小孩建議多備用幾款不一樣的防蚊產品

好多好玩好聽的故事，來到這裏就不要趕，好好的聽導覽說故事，你會有很多意想不到的收穫，也可以更了解當地文化。
