Chaikou Snorkling Area

While the entrance into the water is a bit tricky due to the waves and the current, once you are there, the magical underwater world unfolds in front of your eyes! 🐠

We saw many varieties of colorful fish, even parrotfish!

This is a snorkel paradise for the intermediate snorkelers and good swimmers. Advised to bring protective gear such as water shoes and suit.

What a amazing place for diving and snorkeling. We did both activities, morning and afternoon. Both time we encounter abundant fish. Super clear water and most amazing fish. Best snorkeling we had in Taiwan. Can’t get enough of it.

Good visibility for snorkeling, accessible via concrete foot path through the rocky reef part. Careful when wind / waves are coming from west as entrance/exit can become dangerous. In terms of beach, corals and marine life we found Dabaisha to be slightly better than Chaikou
