Linhousilin Forest Park

This park is an excellent location for gatherings with friends and family. You can also rent bicycles and experience various activities. Additionally, admission is free.

What an extraordinary morning experience my pops, gramps and I got to enjoy today! The sun wasn’t even up yet and my pops brought me along to Chaojhou’s own national park for my morning stroll. This place has a bunch of new smells and other dogs that had collars but couldn’t tell who their Alpha was. Ample parking spaces for buses, family cars and motorbikes. The public bathrooms are clean and even had trash bins for my pops to throw my poop away!! Lots of fancy things called “art” but also lots of restrictions. Only one side of the park was dog friendly. So we played on the side that didn’t have restrictions for pups and had a blast. Pingtung what a beautiful city. [=

By far, this is my favortite forest park in South Taiwan. There are three official recommended routes - A casual stroll (45min), Ecological Trail Experience (70min) and Four Seasons Pastoral Tour (70min).

I have already been here twice, on my trip for searching 24 Solar Terms which were randomly setting off the trails.

It is really a great place. Hard to describe it's beautiful and attractive. You'd better come and see by yourself.

It's free to get in and park your car. The scenery is nice, especially if you can see the mountains in the background. Not much here for adventurous outdoors people, but good for young families and the elderly. The kids will enjoy playing in the stream. There are bikes to hire and good toilet facilities. It's a nice little stop on the way to somewhere else.

Hiking

A lovely place to walk, even though it was a rainy day Lots of shelters to get out of the rain paths that have over hanging branches to hide from the elements. Well laid out with information placards describing flora and fauna in Mandarin and English 舒服 漂亮 輕鬆的步行道

Located in Pingtung, this park is a great destination for families with little kids. Plenty of free play area, a very shallow but refreshing artificial stream, and small hills complement this picnic area. Located nearby is parking space, as well as an info booth, bathrooms, and drinking water fountains and vending machines. Obviously, even for those without kinda but looking for a romantic picnic area this location is excellent. The rather great range offers plenty of space away from noisy kids haha!

Nice gardens, trees, and maze of footpaths for tracking and/cycling.

Spacious, lots of trees, well kept but not too much so. Great place for picnics and walks.
